went with .5 ML for the 10g farm, so far so good

i got a small bottle for $8 to give it a shot. a few ML here and there this will last me a damn long time!
The Photo Plus works very well. I used Recharge for long while but switched to Microblife products. Using both seemed redundant.
You can order a sample pack from Microbelife. Think the bottles are 4oz?

For growers using Recharge - after some digging I discovered Recharge is repackaged (from India I think) and you can get it much cheaper from the original source.

How do you like the microbe life Photo+? I've been using Recharge for a good while now and almost time to re-up my jar.

I used recharge in my rdwc when I ran organics and that shyte is amazing. The growth from 24-48 hours after use is crazy if your just adding for the first time. Just have to watch the bubbles in the res.
I'm sterile now and doubt I'll ever go back

It's just kelp extract doing that. It has plant growth hormones in it. I'm sure you could find some kind of kelp extract that is appropriate for hydro.

When Recharge works, it is phenomenal and the price works out better than the Photo for me, but I ran into some inconsistencies between batches/bags.
I've gone back and forth with lots of inoculants (Caps Bennies, Recharge, Great White, Rx Roots) and always seem to come back to the Photo+.
Its a solid product IME

Can u get GFF shipped to Canada?
I never had much success.

I searched and searched for weeks it seemed, was damn near impossible to find anything , anywhere that would ship to Canada, i got lucky and found a supplier on Amazon.com who was willing to ship Hydroguard to Canada.

GFF was so much cheaper...Hydroguard cost me $200cdn for 2.5 gallons.

Thank you. I'm thinking about grabbing the sample pack on their site you linked.

I use hydroguard in dwc. Its proven. also not running chillers either, no probs yet 2yrs. Yes it's mostly water but for home growers its really not that expensive to use and it is easy and ready to use. Shit works great. Imho. Peace

ive actually been wondering if i cant just add disilled water to my hydroguard bottle when its half way empty as the bacteria probably reproduces anyways
Growing liquid cultures is not that simple. You would have to maintain the same sugar content without introducing any other contaminants. You would also need a liquid culture jar with a syringe filter in the lid to keep out contaminants but exchange gasses and a magnetic stirrer to provide enough oxygen for them to grow. It would become a whole other hobby. Even then you'd really have no way to know if a batch is contaminated or not until your plants die.

Is Photo+ appropriate for hydroponics?

yeah orca would have been the better choice. not knowing i went with the great white as it did also treat hydroponic applications. its not bad at all. Bbombs root rot like Qasem Soleimani in Baghdad
