We have an obligation to every last victim of this illegal aggression because all of this carnage has been done in our name. Since WW2, 90% of the casualties of war are unarmed civilians, a third of them children. Our victims have done nothing to us, from Palestine to Afghanistan to Iraq to Somalia to wherever our next target may be, their murders are not collateral damage, they are the nature of modern warfare.

They don't hate us because of our freedoms, they hate us because every day we are funding and committing crimes against humanity. The so called "war on terror" is a cover for our military aggression to gain control of the resources of western Asia. This is sending the poor of this country to kill the poor of those Muslim countries. This is trading blood for oil. This is genocide and to most of the world, we are the terrorists.

In these times remaining silent in our responsibility to the world and it's future is criminal and in light of our complicity in the supreme crimes against humanity in Iraq and Afghanistan and ongoing violations of the UN Charter and international law, how dare any American criticize the actions of legitimate resistance to illegal occupation.

Our so called "enemies" in Afghanistan, Iraq, Palestine or other colonies around the world and our inner cities here at home are struggling against the oppressive hand of empire, demanding respect for their humanity. They are labeled "insurgents" or "terrorists" for resisting rape and pilage by the wide establishment, but they are our brothers and sisters in the struggle for justice.

The civilians at the other end of our weapons don't have a choice, but American soldiers have choices, and while there may have been some doubt five years ago, today we know the truth; our soldiers don't sacrifice for duty, honor, country, they sacrifice for Kellogg Brown & Root (KBR). They don't fight for America, they fight for their lives and their buddies beside them because we put them in a war zone. They're not defending our freedom, they're laying the foundation for 14 permanent military bases to defend the freedoms of Exxon Mobile and British Petroleum. They're not establishing democracy, they're establishing the basis for an economic occupation to continue after the military occupation has ended.

Iraqi society today, thanks to American "help", is defined by house raids, death squads, check points, detentions, cerfues, blood in the streets and constant violence. We must dare to speak out in support of the Iraqi people who resist and endure the horrific existence we've brought upon them through our bloodthirsty imperial crusade. We must dare to speak out in support of those American war resistors, the real military heroes who uphold their oath to defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, including those terrorist cells in Washington DC, more commonly known as the legislative, executive, and judicial branches.

Frederick Douglas said "Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle. Power concedes nothing without demand. It never did and it never will." Every one of us, every one of us must keep demanding, keep fighting, keep thundering , keep plowing, keep steaming, keep struggling till justice is served. No justice, no peace.

These people must wake up everyday hating themselves, what a pathetic life to live. These speeches and videos are simplifying the issues, of course the intended audience are probably "simple" people who wont care to verify if any of these propaganda has merit. I'm good, keep on keep'n on US military!

" To most of the world WE are the Terrorists". I have been to 75% of the World's countries, every hemisphere, every continent. Fought in 2 wars for My country, had my friends blown up. I have lived in some real shit holes, large and small. I have spent years in the middle east and I can say unequivocally that statement is 100% true. They hate us for what we do to them, not for what we are about.

Exactly right... nailed it.

Interesting analysis. But being produced primarily as a piece of propaganda, not totally reliable.

But it does give perspective on what I think is an undeniable truth. That we are perceived as terrorists, the aggressor, the infidels, the thief of resources, etc.

Although there is an element of truth to this, let us not forget that these people hate us and want to kill us. They hate our culture, they hate our freedom, they hate christianity, they hate equal rights for women. In short, they hate just about everything that most Americans love about our society.

I want the wars to end. I think we should pull out ASAP without causing undue danger to ourselves.

But make no mistake. Islam is the antithesis to everything we hold dear in our country. Not one politician has the balls to say this.

BTW. I am not christian, but I believe in a greater power whose complexity obscures our ability to understand it.

Islam is a false, evil religion. Here in modern times, it would cast us back centuries to medieval times. Women are treated as nothing but dogs.

Believe what you want. But ignore this truth at our country's peril.

Does nobody understand that the civilians in Iraq and Afghanistan want us there? They are just as much victims as we are, probably more so. I went to Iraq and people respect us and support our fight to give them the freedoms that we enjoy. Their woman and children are forced to do things they don't want to do, they are forced to behave certain ways in the fear of death. It is not the american military that are performing atrocities, but the radical muslim extremists. I don't understand why people are so against trying to bring personal freedoms and liberties to others. If they have the ability to run things the way they see fit without the fear of a retalliation, then we would have no reason to be there. Another thing I find funny is that anytime America does anything that involves another country, people go crazy, yet whenever another country faces a difficulty, America better be there to fix the mess. It's like everybody hates us until they need us, then they come running to us to fix their problems. Quite hypocritical.

The power of the U.S. military has not been released since WWII they do not want to feel the wrath. what confuses me is, when there is an terrist attack because of an american presence, the enemy ends up with 100 times the american presence. This makes it ilogical for these idiots to be attacking american interests. Nobody has ever said the U.S. military is a good police agency, and that seems to be the way poloticians use them lately. The enemies they face now are to stupid to play nice so our military can get the hell out.

I agree with one caveat. Only the lower tier followers actually believe we are global terrorists. This is exactly what the upper class of the Arab world wants them to think. It deflects their attention away from the fact that Arab citizens live in an oppressed society.

They don't wish to face themselves in the mirror. It's much easier to finger point. It's all about deflecting their true problems, which means these problems aren't being addressed.

As a society, Islam produces huge failures.
