Great look low smell.. Help please.

This is my first time growing. I am growing Snow White from Nirvana and they have been flowering for a few weeks now and they the buds and the plant its self looks aswome , but there inst much of a smell... The only time i can smell a strong like smell is if i rub some of the resin off the leaves on my fingers and smell it.. When i rub my fingers on the leaf it smells really good but i always assumed weed had a huge stink to it such as being able to smell it out side the room kind of thing...

give it time

low smell doesn't have to be bad, a lot of potent strains smell big time
but some like northern lights can be very low smell, but have plenty of potency
