Trump Administration is reported to be deliberately slowing mail under new Postmaster General. Aim may be to destroy confidence in USPS to try to steal election. More reporting will be upcoming on this.
i saw that report as well - makes sense why the larger depots are bottle necks now - they send ppl home w/o having all the work done.....

Just the last week or two have been strange here, packages coming well after “out for delivery” notification, but if they don’t get the packages done, they may load the next day, of coarse the next day packages are there also. Neighbor Mailman’s daughter told us this also.

Idk if you are serious or not lol. The guy is a fuckin lunatic and wouldn't put it past him. My pack took a full week just to get halfway across the US. GLG fires it out hot...USPS serves it up freezing cold.

Does anybody think the postal service is just letting batches of mail sit for a day or two to let any residual virus degrade? Not sure... just wonderin'. Seems like a less sinister reason for delays. Not that we can assume anything sensible is going on in the US.

Doubt it but possible. I thot the virus can stay active for up to 14 days on clothing. Idk about boxes but I'm sure if it was on a box, it would be on their clothes too.

Seriously though...what does Dem/Rep have to do with the Great Lakes Genetics conversation? Neither of them have decriminalizing cannabis as part of their official platform, so nothing's likely to change in relation to GLG's business based on the November election results regardless who wins...unless people suddenly wake up and realize there are actually more than 2 candidates on their ballot. The political squabbling really needs to go to the Politics section so the thread can stay relevant to the topic at hand.

USPS's current speed may be due to internal policy changes coming from the new postmaster general, or due to staffing/transportation availability at some of the hubs, or due to any combination of other things. Either way, it has nothing to do with the genetic fire @Bad Dawg carries, nor does it impact in any way the service GLG provides between the time of receiving payment and shipping product. Travel time to & from GLG has been slower in general, but so has travel time for many other packages from both east coast & west coast. In some cases it's actually worse now than it was at the peak of the covid wave. Anyone who has read my comments knows I've loved to hate on USPS for years. That hasn't changed and I still choose FedEx or UPS over USPS anytime it's offered unless I'm shipping to a PO box.

Yeah, if the politics section is so bad that in needs to drift into Seed Bank Reviews, then maybe the trolls need to be cleaned out of the politics section.
