I took a trip to all my local hydroponics/garden supply stores and stumbled upon a hidden GEM! The Greenhouse Garden Supply in Carmichael, CA has great prices with extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I bought 2 cubic feet of Happy Frog soil and a 12 qt bag of perlite for $23.19 (tax included). The staff member who helped me was super chill and gave me some advice on nutrients and light systems. I asked if they had any samples and he hooked me up with 5 mini bottles of Botanicare products. (SWEET! 
) If you're anywhere near Sacramento, the greenhouse garden supply is definitely worth the trip.
