I've been growing for a number of years and things are going ok, but I'd like to upgrade/fix some annoying issues I have. I'm going to replace a couple autopots with a new system.
I use mainly Autopots and some hempy buckets when I'm not going to be out of town.
The autopots have been ok, but they have their downsides, and hempy buckets are great minus the frequent waterings.
The thing I like about the autopots is:
1. They just hook up to a tank of nutes and use them as needed.
2. No waste or recycling. Water and air pumps are deal killers and I don't have the sanitation to keep up with a recycling system anyway.
What I don't like about the autopots:
1. They clog easily
2. If nutes run out there is very little reserve and plants quickly run through available moisture.
3. Bottom fed, I'd prefer top fed.
So what I'm looking for is a system where it will top feed the plants and has a reservoir like a hempy bucket and will continue to top feed until the reservoir reaches a certain point and start feeding when it drops below a certain point, creating a bit of ebb and flow at the roots. I'm ordering parts and starting in on the build, but if anyone has any links or whatever let me know.
Thank you.
