Couldn't have said it better myself, speedhabit. This is the never-ending ploy of lefties. If you lay facts on them that cannot be denied, they rant, rave and throw out the "racist," "homophobe," "Nazi," "sexist," "hate speech," "I'm a Veteran" cards, and then they spew out hateful personal attacks to boot. Med is a prime example of this. He's an intelligent guy ... but man, what a waste of that intelligence.

Cant we all just get along? ~LOL~. I mean if you haven't experienced incoming, then you are saying that these guys volunteered to be shot at, you are just plain fucking stupid. That first round you hear sizziling past your head is a real wake up call, it's like mama get me out of here. I'm not a hero by any sense of the word, but I know what it's like to be shot at, and for all you pussies that think you are real he men and have never served in a combat zone, shut the fuck up about they volunteered and so they should be lovin it. The reason men stand up in combat is not about country or corps, it's about the guy on the left and the guy in front and behind them, their buddies, they all want to be home with their families, to a man. There might be a few psycho killers in the mix, I never saw one, there were some wierd dudes, but in my unit we didn't have anyone baggin ears. The one thing I will attest to, the first time you see one of your buddies get hit, the "enemy" becomes known
