Whoa! really? I'm sorry to hear that Tree King, I'm at a 50% success rate with the next gen GK beans, however in the spirit of full-disclosure I must say that I'm still a beginner when it comes to gardening ( especially from seed ) MY GK seedling looks great! She's so symmetrical and robust. Also she already smells DELICIOUS. Hope things are going well for ya. Keep me posted my good sir.

yeah only 7 ended up popping up and 1 died. i always have bad luck with seeds that why i buy so many packs. the only thing i can think of is trying to scrape the seeds with sandpaper and try to re germinate them. we'll see what happens

What's your germinating method? I've had great luck with this technique: Soak the beans in bottled water for about 12+ hours. ( the good ones should eventually sink to the bottom ) Place seeds in high quality soil with mild nutrient content such as, Light Warrior or Happy Frog ( be sure the soil is moist but well drained ) As soon as they sprout place the seedlings under a blue spectrum cfl light. Continue to water lightly ( no nutes until 3 or 4 weeks old ) Well, this works for me about 80% of the time and I'm still a rookie.

Well, my little seedling survived and is now a tall and strong female. ( she almost died because the wind knocked her down and bent her stem ) I replanted past the bend in the stem, she grew roots from the replanted portion of the stem and she's doing great. Going to 12/12 mode tonight. Wish me luck, I cant wait to taste this delicious strain again. ( this time around it will be better because of the "homemade" effect) Salud!

Well, it's now two months after starting my little plant on flowering mode. I'm within a few days of harvesting. Trichs are about 90% milky 6%clear and 4% amber/amberish. I used some high-tech LED lights and they worked well. I almost harvested today because I can't wait to try it but my better judgement prevailed and I'm going to give it the few more days it needs to achieve it's full potential. It smells awesome, grapefruity indeed. Wish me luck. Peace

Well ladies and gentlemen there you have her. My version of Grapefruit Kush ( version meaning the way I grew it, as everyone has their own methods and beliefs ) Seed used: Next Generation, Soil: Roots Organics, Nutrients: Fox Farms trio plus awesome blossoms by technaflora, Environment: Indoor, Light, LED with uv. She smells great! I can't wait to try it. Just a few more days until harvest. Had a run-in with mold but was able to keep it under control. The plant has been robust and healthy to the best of my knowledge besides the mold spots. The coloration is great to look at, Orange, purple, green. Not sure if it's supposed to have purple in it but it does. Could be the low temps in my area ( yes even inside my house since I don't run heating of any sort ) Anyone else here grow this girl. I think I'm in love ;)

Thank you guys , I'll definitely keep you posted until I reach the long-awaited smoke session. This strain inspired me to upgrade my growing technique from nutes to equipment as well as tecnique. I must confess, I couldn't help my self and I vaped some trichomes off a sample bud I picked. Considering it wasn't dried yet, much-less cured, it was a nice prelude to what the finished product will be. Peace

Well my friends, I finally had the chance to smoke the fruits of my labor. The flowers have only been curing for about a week but I couldn't wait any longer. The smell is refreshing, it reminds me of a citrus/mint chewing gum. The smoke is creamy and fun to interact with. I did a French inhale and it really picks up the citrus notes of this strain. The high is clear, motivating and fun. The bag appeal is ridiculous, with bright green, orange and purple accents. Highly recommend this. I hope Next generation resupplies the seed banks with their Grapefruit Kush soon because last I checked it's sold out.

Well, I'm still enjoying this medicine, all your stress melts away. Next seed I'm growing is DJ short's Grape Krush, anyone here have any advice on this strain? Thanks in advance.
