Yeah man you should have waited at least another 2+ weeks! The taste and potency wont be that close to its full potential for cutting it that early. I ruined a jock horror and a bubble gum before by cutting them early getting all excited with the smell coming off them.....

P.S I would advise you to remove that pic with your reflection in the mirror! You would be easily recognised if just say, a neighbour or someone who knew you and where you lived used this site aswell as you, or even if someone recognised your face somewere and followed you home:evil:..... One good tip you should know to be a succesfull grower is never revealing your identity online, No matter were you live! EVEN IF YOU ARE A MEDICAL GROWER IN A LEGAL STATE!

Good work up untill you cut them man!! Those are some fat juicy buds, still had a good bit of filling out to do though.

i agree with irish it looks like she could have gone a little bit longer... the best way I believe to tell is based on the collor of the hairs. when 2/3 of the hairs starting from the top cola down have turned amber its prime time to harvest.

To the op:
They look like some top notch smoke, too bad they're early:sad: you will deff know when they are getting close. Your buds should almost double in size in the last two weeks. smell will intensify and in alot of cases "sweeten" per say. The whole plant will take on a "milky/amber" hue. Pistils will recede back into the calyx most of the way. Trust me, the last two weeks is worth the wait, and very exciting. You can sometimes "watch" the buds swell on a daily basis. Once you see a mature plant first hand, you will be able to tell with the naked eye when it is very close to chop time from then on out. Good luck and happy growing!:leaf:

I'm in no way trying to be a dick, I just dont like to see false information passed on. Color of hairs (pistils) has nothing to do with maturity. Some strains will have all white or mostly white hairs when at peak. Each strain is different, as well as each pheno of said strain. The best way to tell when a plant hits full maturity is with a scope. You have to check the trichomes. IMO the best time to chop is when your pretty close to 50/50 on amber and cloudy/milky. If you like a lighter more "head" high chop when only 25-35% are amber. If you like your high more on the stoney side then chop when your 60-70% amber. Any more amber than that and your most likely just losing potency. While taste may develop more, the plant "over-matures" in a sense and the thc breaks down to other less psychoactive components. Not to mention a plant that's too mature is more likely to herm as a "last ditch" survival tactic.

Its the Trichromes that you should watch , clear its to soon, milky with some amber in the Trichromes -THC is Peak, Amber is the point at which TCH has peaked and begins to degrade, Then you can always Sample a small nug. It wont taste the best but you'll get an idea where they are AT.
