Im gonna try this out.
figured a few pics were appropriate today. an auttum mix sunflower, a moon flower, my white bird of paradise, 5 new leavesw since february no flower yet. parrots cattepilar and a new butterfly. (the size of my palm) oh yeah and my pot plant thats revegging... oh yes and the newest garden member the staghorn fern
sometimes it doesnt matter how good a green thumb you have some things are outta your control. my husky cherry tomato plant. notice the top half of it. what is this?
ha ha i googled it and found out several hours later what it was. we had a sphinx moth last year in our backroom that my daughter loved. so we brought the horn worm/cattepillar into our butterfly enclosure for a few days. mama released it yesterday and watched it bury itself in the ground. it did nail my green pepper too....i will keep an eye out.....that is a "cutworm" or "hornworm", depending on who you ask..... mean lil fuckers they are. I bet he did that overnight huh?? KILL it with supreme vengence, and inspect daily for any more..... they'll make quick work of tomatoes and peppers.
