All in the title lads I innoculated two bags on the 3rd or so, 27th now and still nada. Should I bin them or keep waiting?

You say the 3rd of this Month, Mate?
If so; since it has been 3 weeks, there should have been sign of colonization
around day 5 after inoculation.
You should bin the bags after the bags are 85%-95% colonized.

I have 5ml of syringe, I'm not wasting ANOTHER 50 bucks on more bags but just for it to fail again

What? This doesn't even make sense dude. Bulk method, what? I had 2 grain bags, they haven't colonized at all in 3 weeks. Should I throw them out or keep waiting? I don't get what's unclear here

I think what he is trying to tell you is that, he thought your "bin" reference was to move your mushroom casing to a bin for continued spawning.

If you look into the bags do you see any signs of colonization? Do they smell bad or have any color to them that is not white? What are the conditions like in the room you're doing this? What temperature and humidity do you maintain? How exactly did you go about innoculating your bags? What type of spore strain are you using? Where did you get the spores from? How did the spore syringe look before you used it? Can you post some pictures or provide more information?

Um wow. I kept them in the Laundry with a heater going, first few days could have been too hot before I got my thermometer out there but once it was it sat between 20-26C so right in the good spot I think. There's no signs of any color change, no smells I've noticed, nothing. They just look the same as when I got them. I got the syringe from mushroomprints.com. Golden teachers I believe.

I am no expert on this subject, but, I know you need to have your substrate moist and sterilized before you innoculate. I assume your grow bag is sterile since it's store bought, but was it bone dry when you put in the spore solution?
Also, those little black puck looking things, they are activated heaters, did you do anything to activate them? Or did the bags come with any instructions?

I bought them online actually but yes they were pre sterilized lol. Um they were most definitely NOT bone dry, I was under the impression that that was right too, mycelium requires moisture to grow

Yeah that's what I thought =( gonna try a couple pf tek Jars with the last 5ml in my syringe, if THEY don't grow then clearly the syringe was effed

I'll leave em out there a while but just in case haha I read a story online about a guy who tried to colonize a jar 2 weeks and nothing so it wound up in a bag forgotten, pulled out a month later fully colonized =)

The substrate is very prone to contaminates when inoculated more than once.
That is why it is recommended with bags to use the whole syringe per penetration.
Even if You use a brand new syringe, the bags have open holes in them.
If You did not seal with micropore tape the bags are already technically contaminated.
Especially if You do another inoculation and if You do not sterilize the needle before.

I have gotten contaminates every single time I reused a syringe AND needle.
PF Tek or Bulk Bags. Even agar and rye jar teks can easily get contaminated.
