GRAFFIIT : The Writings on the wall...

I hate when gangbangers spray their chicken scratch on peoples houses. There is a place for everything. If it is art and it is in an appropriate place (like industrial zones) it is cool, in my opinion.. Colors are cool, if you are going to paint, please, practice.. Do it for the sake of art..
 
I also like it when you see something and you have to think "how the heck did they get up there?" That is cool I think when someone risks their balls to get up.. Of course this is dangerous and people do die.. You have to be carefull just like anything.. Its like a right of passage..
 
Yeah, there are a bunch of little kids that don't respect the "code" of graff. You need to have a good style to be a success..

exactly. thats what i was trying to saying in one of my earlier threads.
 
Bangers only tag on peoples houses because they are common thugs with no respect.

Now taggers and artists on the other hands Dont tag peoples houses... Most taggers now a days do mostly blackbook stuff (sketch book) & hit a wall or train now and then...

Graffiti is for taggers not bangers... so no need to complain about that crap here... Sending mixed messages...
 
mixed messages.. keep people in control. i love graffiti. i like tags. i like fill ins freeways spots, freights...but in reservation. a throwie in the wrong place is toy..same with a tag

graffiti in itself is amazing really, i do a lot of paintin and i have tried graff nd its a serious ammount harder than it looks, and it even looks hard.. lots of practice involved 2!!
 
I love when people tag/graff. I think its hella artistic.

im out the game now...im too old to be running across freeways, staking spots, and running from police...i only paint canvases and legals...im a sell out that didnt make money
 
Tagging is so much fun!

There are some tight ones I'll try to take in minneapolis, I haven't really done too many, but I'm having a hard time thinking of my "word" :/
 
I hate taggers.

Some tags look good but mostly it's just a shitty scribble on a wall. They look shit.

I used to stencil a lot, didn't get any pictures though. Most of the stuff I did only related to the people in my town so I kinda didn't see the point of pictures.

I've still got a lifesize 6 layer stencil of superman around here somewhere, i'll have to see if I can find it.

I've got the urge to start it all again.. gah!

Watch this space haha.
