IS anyone growing this/previously grown it? I'm only reading bad things on it from previous years maybe this is a good batch? I snagged some on auction in a moment of passion then did research...

Why the hell would GPS sell them if they have been known junk for so long? Really makes me reconsider future purchases..

Quote/"the fem listed on the website are from Heisenbeans. I did release Wedding Cake S1 about a year ago from a "breeder" named Adam M under the company SomethingAboutGentics/Apex Genetics they turned out to be bogus hemp seed.... The seeds listed on the website currently, while are the same name (Wedding Cake S1) they are from an entirely different person.

Confusing yes, but know that I stand behind seeds listed on my website 100%, if you are dissatisfied (people were) then you are entitled to refunds/replacements. Call it a guarantee."/end Quote

Unfortunately, if you grow outdoor it can take 5 months to find out you are dissatisfied!

Yep that’s the correct info. The first batch of seeds were on the site for a total of four weeks. Not very long compared to the current batch that’s been on since April

FYI , ive been told by a few very good growers that heisens Wedding cake s1s were gonna be legit.

I think his beans are only just starting to get near harvest across the board, so not much info on many of them yet.

This is where it all gets a bit dishonest in the seed trade.
Heisenburg calls his strain Wedding cake but he isn't the breeder Seed Junkys was.

I dare say if it ever goes federal legal then there will be a lot of law suites going on.

But as we have seen from Bongsmokes pics lately wedding cake and anything with it can be an awesome looking flower. The Slurri crasher he is growing looks awesome.

Oh i agree, theres lots of shadiness and other not so cool things going on in the cannabis industry. I can only speak to the fact that i respect the opinions of the few guys who told me about his Cake and they all expected the beans to produce.

I dont really agree with how he acts and how his fan club acts, but im not buying his personality, im buying his beans and if i was looking for some cake, id prob give him a look for sure.

And that's fine but If you want to get the real deal then you need to buy the real deal.
Its like the knock off HLG boards or fake Rolex's etc, sure they are similar but they are not the real deal.

Yep also agree with that

But as you said, knockoffs keep being bought by consumers because many cant afford or justify the $$ the real stuff costs. I think the same thing is at play here. If you want the real deal, pay the extra $$ and go to seed junky for sure.

Last time i looked, i think heisens beans were still very reasonably priced? not too sure if they still are or not tho, havent looked in a while. You know aswell as i do, growers will buy them if they are priced right and have a popular name lol

I think that the majority of growers was just like me. Northern lights was northern lights, no matter who was breeding it. I didn't realize that dishonest breeders steal the name and try to produce other peoples work and then profit off someone else's work whilst selling an imposter. Generally an inferior imposter.
There is a reason why most elite strains are cut only.

Ya but since all this legalization stuff start happening theres an entrely different breed of growers hitting the scene, and the new breed are being capitalized on by those types you mention. I think its the nature of most things in this day and age unfortunately.

No one wants to put in work. They just want it given to them or ride on someone else's coat tails.

God this thread makes me feel good. I’ll never touch a greenpoint seed.
GU started a hissy fit on the GPS thread because I decided not to buy his seeds for $30 a pack.
