Gotta question

i started growing my first lil baby about a month ago. i germinated the seeds until the root was bout half inch. then i put it the best one in soil in a styrofoam cup. when it got about 4 inches tall i transplanted it into a milk jug w/ the top cut off. its just shy of a month old now and its only 5-7 inches tall.

GOOD or BAD

Well you could have stunted the growth a bit by transing them while they were so small or the strain you have is just a slow grower. So i guess my advice is just wait it out? But what strain is it? and what kind of system and lighting etc. are you using?

it was 1 of the 2 seeds in a half ounce of hydro... and honestly ive jus been using a desk lamp so far. order a grolite on the internet but it hasnt come yet. the buld in the desk lamp is one tht gives off heat............ a flourescent bulb is wat i mean. the desk lamp has a metal shade around which i believe will help the plant get as much light as possible

Thats horrible for a month. You need to get a better light so that the plant can actually grow. Its should be at least 14 inches or bigger regardless of strain.:leaf:

I don't believe most strains will reach 14" a month from seed. Not in soil anyway.
also is it really bad tht i planed the seed upside down
The seed will figure it out, no worries. We could give you a better opinion on your plant, if you put up a pic of it.:peace:

i have to agree with the light factor...hop on down to wally world or something like that and grab a cheap shop light get a plant tube and a aquarium tube and keep it close it will get her going until you get set up and then you can use it on a later date if you take cuts...
as far as being planted upside down well imo seeds don't always land right side up in nature she still has great potential "fingers crossed for a she".
hope that helps!
