If your room is reakin, and you don't have ventilation to use a carbon filter/scrubber, this may work well for you. This is a very low power and compact smell eliminator. and it works for my closet grow and im sure it would cover the smell from a medium size grow. for about 20 dollars The materials needed are:

1 bottle of ONA (odor neutralizing agent) [try your local hydroponic/gardening store or search the internet. i picked up about a liter for 20 bucks and its prolly a lot more than i need]
1 computer fan*
1 half gallon milk jug
1 pair of scissors
1 exacto knife
1 roll of duct tape
1 A/C plug in cord OR correct voltage A/C-D/C converter
1 soldering iron + solder
1 roll of electrical tape
1 piece of cardboard that is larger than the milk jug

*The type of computer fan you are able to get will determine whether you need a A/C-D/C converter or just a wall plug in cord.

Now that you have all of your materials you can begin.

cut the bottom half of the milk jug off. discard the top half we'll call it the base now

if you must, cut the cardboard so you can place it on top of the base.

cut a hole the size of the fan in the carboard MAKE SURE THE FAN IS BLOWING INTO THE BASE and secure the fan to the carboard. take extra care to make sure it wont fall

tape the cardboard to the base. again make sure it is done tightly.

now take your knife and cut one rectangular hole on each side. leave some so you dont ruin your the base

*for an AC fan strip the two wires coming off the fan. take your plug in and it should have a good length of wire to it and strip the ends to expose some wire. solder the two parts together. wrap with electrical tape to eliminate a shock hazard.

*for a DC fan have all your wires stripped and remember red = positive black = negative. 100% of the time there is one of those colors so you can figure it out i hope. put red to red and black to black. solder and tape to finish your assembly

Pour in the ONA plug in the fan a steady flow of air should be coming out of the holes and within minutes smell is gone.

im tellin ya this stuff works awesome. I was testing it and my mom walks in my room smoking a cigarette. she was like 4ft away and i couldnt smell the smoke at all. just clean laundry. moved it into the growroom after it started to smell and now that sweet bud smell is gone.. after the ONA dries up you just add water and voila! its back to life.

If you're using ONA liquid then may I suggest you pick up some polymer crystals, such as AquaSorb. The dehydrated crystals soak up the liquid up to 200 times their weight making the ONA last longer. I too have been using ONA in a similar fashion, it is a good product. However, the smell of the ona and weed begins to mingle after a while so I decided to pick up a carbon filter. I thought ONA would solve all my problems, I was naive. Carbon filters are still the way to go, I can barely even smell the ona let alone weed. Together though they make odors disappear quite nicely.
