Got my hash room all setup.Im not selling anything!

Got my cold room all setup and tested.
Can get my room to 47F, and my wash vessel on the outside hits 34F!!!
It's taken alot of reading, watching videos and just practice to hit this point.


did a few test runs with a buddys harvest
5% yield after press on GMO
3.5% yield after press on strawnana
4% yield after press on wedding cake

How do you make this or what is it? Excuse my ignorance I have been growing and making hash from bubble bags for years but not sure what you have going on here

So I start with fresh frozen whole plant material and wash it into bubble hash. I then take the dried bubble hash and press it using a rosin press. (Two heated plates with 12 ton jack)

Two questions. Why is your hash white and what is the purpose of pressing it? I’m old school when it comes to weed and have been growing my own since 07-08 so I’m out of the loop of what’s going on

So being fresh frozen material that never hung dry does help make the color lighter. Also if a grower chops before day 60 the hash will typically come out lighter.
Nice, I bet you grow some fire. If your around colorado and ever want it turned to hash let me know.

how much was your press? And do you feel like your purchase was worth it?
One more question.
what do you do with your waste?

I use a Low Temp brand all in one setup. I spent around $1200 on the press. I do feel like it was worth it. Lol I spread my waste material around the yard .

That's the washed material I'm talking about though that I just spread around yard

Nice thread. When you say 5% is that from the fresh frozen Weight? Or from the ice hash?
About to get into something similar but make the hash with dried trim/bud not fresh.

5% from the fresh frozen flower. And that's the post press yield. Not including the food grade by the way. Which is normally good enough to smoke while the full spectrum goes in for a slow cure at room temp

Very cool! I aspire to press some bubble hash in the near future. I have been experimenting with making BHO from fresh frozen flower for about a year now and am for sure ready to take to the next level.

I am interested to know the method of making the ice water hash from the fresh frozen material. I assume yo freeze the flower first then add ice water to them and agitate? Seems like it would create a big block of ice. Any tips or tricks you can recommend?

I have the bubble bags and all the flower I will ever need. Rosin press in being researched now. I had a Nug Smasher OG but didn't care for not being able to control how much pressure was being used. Any recommendations on a press?

Yep so I wash the weed using bubble bags. Collect the hash. Freeze dry. Put the hash in the micron pouches and press. I then save all the pouches and eventually empty them for the insides to make oils, or if im wanting to make salve I can just soak a bunch of the pressed pouches in coconut oil on low heat for a while and follow whatever recipe.
If you plan to do edibles, be sure to empty the pouches, I'm m not sure if it's actually ok to soak the pouches and then ingest that oil.
