Well I had some water leak onto some HPS bulbs I was storing. They have some hard water spots on them and are pretty hazed over. Any suggestions on how to clean them? I was going to treat them like you would a glass window. Put some vinegar on them and use a sponge to see if they come off.

vinegar diluted with water will remove the hard water stains. I used to be an auto detailer and charge hundreds to remove water spots that took me all of a half hr to remove. trade secrets pays the bills.

heres another 1000.00 tip, denatured alcohol removes tree sap in seconds, SAFELY. I used to make 500.00+ removing sap from entire car paint finshes. wheel acid + paper towels soaked and placed on vehicle paint that has limestone/calcium deposits left from water dripping/seaping thru parking structure building blocks will revove the hard rock deposits that form. once again, safely w/no damage to paint, not too many people know these trade secrets.

and NEVER EVER buy a vehicle that was an auto show vehicle. trust me.
