on this subject I was wondering if any one can point me in the right direction to the answer I need. My question is in the state of Missouri what is the penalty if you get pulled over and they find anywhere from half a pound or anything up to five pounds in a car? Should I go and find a lawyer and ask him what the charge is and what penalty I would be facing and once I know the charge is there anyway of getting aorund it?

Thanks for in advance.
5-15 years plus a $2,000-$20,000 fine.

Then again you can't get a manufacturing charge if the seeds haven't even sprouted yet. So you can argue with them about that and get it dropped to just the paraphernalia charge which is a misdemeanor and a fine.

Officer's always charge you with the WORST case scenario. With a decent lawyer and some fighting power you can get that sentence reduced especially if you don't already have a criminal record. They do that shit to scare you and take it seriously. My friend was arrested for transporting Meth and selling. She was charged with 4 felonies, but before she even got to court 3 of them were dropped and her public defender (not even a hired lawyer) got her sentence reduced even more slightly. She ended up spending some time in prison (it was meth after all) but it was WAY less than they originally arrested her on. Just keep a clear head, don't dwell on it and find an attorney that will help you out.
