got a warren under my new growspot

to cut a long story short,
just found the perfect spot , in the middle of a ton of brambles (think 30sq ft) south facing, decent soil , but theres 1 problem - i got rid of all the shit surounding where im growing then realised theres a rabbit warren smack bang in the middle.

What should i do to get rid of em?
not really up for killing em, would something like that lion manure stuff you get from the garden center get rid of em?

any suggestions?

they got myxamotosis, aint touching the dirty little things

theyre vermin, they have myxamatosis which means they'll eventually go blind and have barely no senses - you can walk round the fields here and see dozens of rabbits just sitting in the middle of the field because this disease, you can walk right upto them and they wont even move .

Whats more cruel, killing them humanely or letting them suffer and spread the disease more?

kill them but if you do atleast honer its life and eat it the cycle of life!! but after gutting it look at the liver if it looks normel its good but any white or yellow spots on the liver then it has to be trashed=(

dont think you would wanna eat one tbh, ive seen them fresh and dead where owls have ripped em up, there guts look like mush and stink of shit,
anyway dont think the warren was active so i filled all the holes near me in, if there is any wabbits down there, oh well tough luck, better luck next time.

you need a fence made from chicken wire to keep out the silly rabbit at least six feet high,so the deer dont munch it either,and use the pellet slug and snail bait,sprinkle it around the outside of the fence after every rain,if you even have slugs where you live.

I agree fence off your plants, the rabbits were there first and minding their own goddamn business.

rabbit=food..........animals in general=food, however humans have a thing called compassion......so therefor we see it more right to raise a cow in an area where i barely has room to move than to go out and earn your meat.... just have a nice feast, there are plenty rabbit recipes!!!

i think hes not being an asshole by not killing them

ok .. i dont know if u knew this ... but rabbits will often lay motionless even if u are right up on them... i almost stepped on one this weekend .. so they may not be wererabbits...

what you should do is just put a fence around the bottom of your plants so they can't get at them and eat the stems.. or you could just make a fence around the hole that the rabbits use and put some type of deterent there... like bear or fox scent.. a predator smell basically.. once they notice that it's always around they should move to a different location..
