what i would do is check the soil by touch rather than looking, maybe dry on top but still moist/wet down an inch or two, so i use a finger and check it that way, you can always moisten the top of your soil using a spray bottle every couple days try not to drench the container, i transplanted into final container couple days after seedling stage, i use jiffy pot containers they expand bout 1-.5 inches. i watered my soil in the container before i transplanted its been 2weeks on monday and no need to water and im using 600watt. as for a fan i had put one on to soon and the stem bent so you an either wait till it gets a little more developed may be the best bet, or turn fan on lowest and have it far away so they are just, just barely moving, you got plenty of time ahead to have a fan them so you dont really need to rush that. as for watering again by feel could be once a week or every other week depends on size and how your soil holds water. and nutes i read 2 weeks after seedling stage which i also read starts once your first set of true leaves grow (they look like marijuana not the 2 small normal looking leaves it first grew) and nutes first using 1/4 to 1/2 strength nutes so you dont burn them and feeding should be done every 2 weeks, i believe its best done when seperate from your watering schedule.
