Hard to see but some of these will produce 4 tops and the nodes are so close that the two tops coming out of the internodes below already caught up to the main top so from 1 topping u can get up to 6 tops and start working on getting the canopy as even as possible. This is where my focus lies for the moment. Its my 2nd grow and my last one had a lopsided canopy. It will not happen again

Ok so it's been about a week since my last post. We're really beginning to fill the tent space. I don't want any light hitting the floor.. The goal here is utilizing my grow space to its maximum potential. I have a little more space to cover but once i transplant into 3 gallon pots ( will be soon as roots are already coming out the bottom) i'm pretty much maxed out.. might have to get rid of one plant if i cant squeeze it in.. did some super cropping on the new tops to even out my canopy.. here's a pic.

I'm new to qwiso but i just made, what i think, is my best product yet.. I usually get a very dark brownish/black product of acceptable consistency. I used about 4 grams of dried and frozen buds. I ended up with .8 of amber/gold shatter.. best color/flavor/consistency I've gotten so far so i thought I'd share. In my haste i got a particle or 2 on it but its so stable i could pluck it right out if need be. Not too brittle, not too waxy.

Looks good. I like 2 diff kinds of oil Black and Gold. If u have int this is what I do:
1) Blk Oil: 1 oz herb to 20 oz everclear rm temp let it mix ~20 min, drain& strain into lg Pyrex, let it sit in sun (cover with cheese cloth)
for 20 min & alchemy occurs green is gone, makes 5.6 Gr Black oil, no I don’t Dewinterize...
(NO HEAT used until down to 2 oz liquid in small 2x2 Pinzi spice jar
place on coffee warmer until All micro bubbles gone) This oil works just fine mixed 5:2.5 ratio In C Cell cartimizer 2mm oil feed holes for vaping).

2) Gold Oil: Same as above, but use 5 lb of Dry Ice in a med size cooler
Prepare herb in glass jar & 20 oz Everclear in separate jar, when temp = minus -45f immediately mix the 2 &
shut cooler up...lightly shake cooler every 4 min., after 20 min done, drain & strain sitting in closed cooler.
Now just evaporate using fan blowing over cheese cloth cover Pyrex dish, finish off like above on coffee warmer. Yummy

I’ve tried a number of different solvents & emulsifiers(Puff Magic is my favorite did not like MCT oil & this is the way for me).

Awesome! I've never done so much at one time.. I think I've done up to 5 grams lol. I'll have to try after this grow is done. Thanks for the instructions!

I could go on & on, this is all new to me as well past year, just got tired of smoke in my lungs.
Teflon spatulas make best stir sticks & toothpic for stirring oil in Penni Spice Jar (I save the jars when the wife is done using the spice). Absolute perfect size & thickness.
Put some oil on end of a safety pin & light iT as final check that all alcohol is evaporated u should not see any sizzle just melt...!
.5 mm C Cell Cartimizer with 4-2mm
oil intake holes has vaped well for me- about 45-55 hits per fill (about 14 fills Blk oil, & 10 with gold oil.)
I also like the 3 way adj vape pin batteries, I use the 4 volt setting. Occasionally clean the draw tube with a pipe cleaner cut to 1 inch, appears these ceramic oil absorption takes in more than can handle-probably why I don’t use preheat function & draw soft !

The picture below is from a few minutes ago. Its getting crowded and being so close to my cut off height vegging, i might install a scrog net. I'd like to transplant into 3 gallon pots first though. Then ill defoliate/lollipop the plants.. I may not top again because I did a 2nd round of topping early last week. I may do it just b4 flowering to reduce stretch and Induce a bushy(er) shape. I've just about filled the width of the tent so no light gets wasted, So everything is going as planned so far.. Im going to push them a bit further tho because i have 4 fems. Im sure the rest will include a few males.. Im over vegging what i have now to account for the space the males will leave behind. Its a guessing game but for now, we're looking good. No deficiencies. No nute burn/wind burn or other issues (yet lol)

Started off by removing all 10 plants and cleaning out the tent today, wiping everything down before the upcoming transplants. I raised the lights a few inches after and came to the conclusion that, unless I can get the lights to hang 2 inches from the ceiling, im going to have to flower very soon. A scrog net can also give me a few more inches and also some added time to fill things in if need be.. The canopy is even enough for me to feel good about adding the net right after transplanting. I digress, after i raised the lights i watered thoroughly and realized they want water ever other day tops. I was on a 3 day cycle . I lollipopped all of them as well. Here's some pics of everything. I also separated the plants by strain this time.

I forgot to mention that the Gorilla Glue and Girl Scout Cookies are feminized. The rest are regular ( Not Feminized ) seeds so it's anyones guess .

Thinking about getting Wonder Woman seeds since they're on sale.. Anybody have any experience with the strain? Good buy or no? I hear she gets chunky.

The haze but the two seeds i tried germinating are showing no signs of life. I'll put 2 more in water now. Ill leave the 2 other two haze seeds and 1 sour og seed in moist paper towels and see of they ever crack. They may be slow growers so i scraped the seam on the shell to help water penetrate and possibly start opening .View attachment 4154865 there are 4 sprouts and now 2 in solo cups waiting ro sprout.. 4 are feminized, 2 are regular nirvana freebies. trying 2 more haze seeds now.

While we wait, check out sum buds from last harvest. First pics are Aurora indica.. the other is an unknown hybrid.i think its predominantly sativa

Qwiso is pretty easy as well but i can agree that the overall process of rosin tech is alot less technical. Heat, press, collect.. The flavor is also 10x better in rosin .. I just hate having to do tiny nugs over and over to get a gram.. I don't have a bigger heating source other than my ladies hair straightener lol.. so for me personally, qwiso is more efficient at extracting a gram of shatter out of an eighth in one shot ( IF u only have a hair straightener on hand ) . And when i use a hot plate, it's ready to smoke in an hour or 2 sometimes

I have GOT to get these plants into the 3 gallon containers. I honestly don't know how they are still growing so vigorously . Im sure the roots filled these pots but sinve they are fabric they get " air " pruned and i think it does help to have in situations like mine where im pushing it a bit.. So apparently my coco is on back order until 8/15, which leaves me s.o.l and i have to do a 2 day delivery on another order of a different brand. Anyway check out the jungle happening here.. it seems that even tho im in veg, they have reached maturity and even withought switching to 12/12, there are very telling pre-flowers appearing.

Looking good I have 35 seedling about week old FEMS and regs I got pugs breath,Sophie's breath,the white LA confidential, grape inferno x beast of burden,elephant bud,Sour patch kids bunch of stuff going can't wait till they get bigger

So I got 10 pounds of coco out for delivery and I've decided to change the plan.. I feel like its a good time to flip the switch to 12/12. This way I can sex all the plants and i won't be unnecessarily transplanting males . Then I can install my scrog net and begin the flowering process . Im thinking a week or 2 should do it because I've seen pre flowers already, it's just a little too early to call it. Weeding out the males, then back to the ladies

Took all the plants out of the tent and watered thoroughly. I had them all out so i figured i should take the opportunity to examine each on closely for signs of sex. I found 3 males. I'll put pics up so i can have your input to be sure. Im pretty sure the haze is a male and the other nirvana freebie to but im not sure. We're down to 7 but im gonna take a shot in the dark and say im going to end up with 5 plants all together. 2 fem GSC, 2 fem Gorilla Glue #4 and a aurora indica x indica cross.
I was looking forward to growing out the haze but who knows, i may cross it with something. 5 plants would leave me a fitting amount of room for scrogging and filling the net to provide an even canopy. At this point we are pretty much waiting for 2 plants to show sex signs and we're rolling along nicely into the flowering phase.
