It should be interesting to see how they both do without any supplementing lights. The Onyx has a little more power than the XGS. The Onyx has 196 watts going to the LED's (28 x 10 run at 70%)and the XGS pull's 195 from the wall, I'll have to figure out the power going to the XGS's LED's unless you know that number. I really didn't plan to do a comparison but it seems to be working out that way.

Change of plans,put the glue back on veg for a few days more.It only had one day of 12/12 so it should be fine. Jeff just sent out a RW 150 for me and it will be here Wednesday.
 
Where the fuck do you get all this money you're able to buy all the new stuff to compare??
Fuck the onyxes alone tapped me for a few.
Odd, I better put the killawatt back on mine, I got reading of over 220.

220 sounds about right, 28 x 10 = 280, 280 x 70% = 196 watts, 196 watts plus power supply,drivers and fan for the total.
 
I've had lots of lighting changes so the floods aren't used as much lately. The two Glues will be grown with no supplemental main lighting,so no Cree bulbs filling in the corners. It's going to be Rapid LED Onyx Bloom in one 3x3 tent and Area 51 RW-150 in the other 3x3 tent and I'm planning on Thursday for the first day of 12/12.

So they lowered the output to fix the driver issue then???? thought it was running around 250w at the plug when the onyx bloom came out??


Hey CM, why change the setup from the xgs to rw?? closer in wattage, almost the same spectra........ well either way this should be an interesting grow. NO side lighting/supplemental additions??

so many ???????????????? so little time:P
