you need a 25" distance from the light to the canopy using DE bulbs with OEM hood. This is what they recommend. I don't need to cool my lights the room's environment is controlled to keep the temp below 81F lights on and above 72F lights off. I don't like large temp swings.. They do get hotter then SE bulbs. Both gavita,E-Pap can go up to 1150w. I have fired a DE bulb using my SolisTek Matrix. I used my PAR meter it was much different from the OEM ballast. I know the Matrix does not provide the 400V the Double Ended EL bulbs need to run properly. Maybe this has been fixed ???

I do know new ones have come out so maybe? I tried to find out at the maximum yield expo but I ran out of time.

NICE, love those pics. just moved mine from my clone room (t8's) to my veg room 600mh for the last 2 weeks before flipping. and these plants veg quick. mine are about 30-40 days old and even under t8's 24/7 they are about 20" tall. fim'd 1x. I couldn't wait 2 more flip cycles not to make room in the flower tent for this coming up run. im getting anxious to try some glue.....and not talking about the elmers type. I ate enough of that in elementary school. lol

ill post a couple pics tonight.

here ya go. they were veg'd under a 2x4' T8 on 24/7 as I had no room in my veg tent. but I made room last night. kicked the pineapple chunk to the naughty corner for not producing and making her a mom in the clone tent. she is lucky I don't put her thru the wood chipper.

anyways, heres my GG#4. she is now under 18/ md and will be flipped in week.

Both these cuttings are the same age. Both transplanted into smart pots, one smart pot put into hydro, and the other into dirt.

The hydro plant is bigger and bushier, but the outside soil plant looks happier and more robust.

Once my grow room building is complete I will chop the trash can plant into clones and the part that remains in the can will be thrown into flower.

I need to start getting some support built up on the outdoor one before she starts spitting out that side branching.

That's all for now I guess...

looks good bro!

im not expecting too much yield from this one this cycle. I kinda hacked her a bit to take clones. I was thinking of potting her in a 3 gal, as im sure she will get root bound in her current 1.75 gal pot. you should see what I did to my og ghost. lol looks like a palm tree of sorts. lol

Left for the weekend to attend my little sisters graduation. I was gone for 36hours total, in that time my water pump failed...

Here's a thirsty gal, and here's hoping she'll perk back up after some hydration...
