Hey guys, my first grow and by shit yield I mean 10 grams a wanking plant..
Planted 20 white widow seeds and claimed 200 grams dried bud.

1 600 watt multi spectrum bulb
1 250 watt multi spectrum bulb
and a 125 watt eco friendly reflector unit.

Using miracle grow in 5 gallon pots each.
Vegged for 6 weeks and 5 days.
flowered for 2 months and and 3 days.

Average temperature was 24 Degrees.
No type of insects or nutrient burn.

What yield should I off got?

I dont think anyone could give you an estimate of the ammount you should of got at harvest. I can say that your doing something wrong, i couldnt tell you what it is but if your only getting 10g per plant, well thats nothing (no offence) GW

Is it tight nugs of fluff? I think more light would help but for that much veg time your right, thats shy a bit. Ever thought of using hydro, you can pull that off two plants instead of twenty with that kind of veg time. Just a thought

ya idk 10 g I hope I get more than tht right now I'm beg week 2 n pistils are starting to b plentiful I cnt post pics from phone I guess.. I use ffof no nutes and she lookin ok.... how erbody.. o and ya ur temp to lo if u growin n tht temp tht must be some strong ass strain.. I keep mine 80 tops n e where from 40 n 60 humidity 3 gal pots....

How close did you have the lights? Do you have a good way to exchange the air in your grow area? A commonly over looked area is getting fresh air to your girls. How tall were they when you fliiped over to flower and how tall were they at the end?

How much space did you have? That's a lot of plants for not a lot of light. Probably could have gotten more from a SCROG.

Honestly you probably would have gotten a lot more with a tighter space and less plants. If the light is too spread out it will effect yield significantly.

This is why you had shit yield. First off, energy=yield. It doesn't matter if the plant gets 3 pounds if you don't have the light source to support it, that's why success is measured in grams per watt. Plus, vegging plants for a long period of time in 5 gallon pails doesn't mean you'll get a huge yield. Every part of a plant uses energy. The larger the plants are the more energy the plant needs. You've got 20 plants in 5 gallon buckets vegged for 7 weeks, That's at least a 2000 watt grow! Hell, it could be a 4000 watt grow to get the maximum bud per plant. So see, you're energy isn't sufficient for the size of the garden. The plants use every ounce just to maintain there size. Plus, how far was the light away from the plants? To cover that foot print it must have been quite far. A 600 watter should be as close as possible to the top of the plants without damaging them, like 10 inches, and not more than 36 inches away. You know that light dissipates exponentially so at 10 inches there's 50,000 candles per foot, at 3 feet there's only 4000! Did you use any flowering nutes or just soil throughout the grow? You need to use P and K during flowering. Don't feel bad, These are common mistakes for first timers. Try growing 4 or 5 plants in 5 gallon buckets with the light closer.

1. Shitty lights

2. Shitty fertilizer

20 plants should have been under around 1800 watts minimum.

600 watts? 2-6 plants max in hydro will give good results. I use a 400w on just one, and it's 4x4x4 at 6 wks. flowering.

Miracle Grow is no good.

Not enough light, and make sure your temps and the humidity is under control as well.

The reason why your yield was poor was not enough lighting / too many plants .Your veg and flowering times seem feasable, less is more when it comes to plants, When i first started i had 40 plants under 6x600 hps, then 22 . Now i get better yield off 10 plants under the same lighting system and in the same space . I get 4-6 oz per plant without topping and vegging 3 weeks from clone. Try doing 4 plants and use some decent veg and bloom nutrients or invest in some more lights . Hope this is usefull.
