I cracked my HPS bulb and switched my plants back to veg after a week of flowering. I was foleating and the spray hit my light though it did not break the bulb or make it so it dosent work it still worked but i unscrewed it and threw the MH light back in and the plants back into vege untell the new bulb showes in the male next week. Because i dont want a crappy flowering + it seems that the plants are still not set in there new 3 gallon pots i just picked up and put them in a day before i started 12/12 so i figured that putting them in veg for maybe a week before i put them back in 12/12 would also help them root down better. Good move or bad?:weed:

Yeah they should do well for it, the first week or two of flowering is mostly vegetative growth anyway, do they have any buds forming yet?
Foliar feeding is not recommended with HID lighting, for the reason you discovered. It has been theorised that it could burn the leaves by the droplets magnifying the light but I've never seen it.

i feel that you could have kept them in flower with the MH bulb. Alot of commercial growers use MH bulbs only. There is still a vigorous debate going on about whether HPS actually produces a better harvest.

by better im not neccesarilly talking about yield either.

so i say bad move

I think it's bad move becouse when you switch to 12/12 the plant releases
the hormone for the budding cycle.
when you switch back to 18/6 it's going to really stress the plant,
which is going have greater chance for a hermi!!!
but then again you might fine but, not worth the chance
