racist business owners do not have a right to cause harm to others. no one has a right to harm others. so to call it a right, much less to say it was infringed upon, is patently retarded and betrays a complete lack of understanding and/or willful ignorance.

The law is homophobic and divisive pure and simple.
All you guys bang on about "rights" but I hear nothing about equality, your politicians should be dealing with the real issues your country faces like how one in every seven Americans is on food stamps.
What about the gay/lesbian service men and women, As far as I'm aware they are willing to lay down their lives for ALL Americans not just the gay one's.

If riots or widespread looting were to happen in AZ tomorrow would those bigoted business owners ask if the policemen or military personnel assigned to protect their stores were gay, I don't think so somehow.

The equal protection clause according to the constitution, makes it clear that no state can deprive a person of life, liberty or property without due process of the law. It say nothing about citizens or private business.

these aren't private businesses, they're public, they're open and sell to the public, they're not some private country club..

The post office is a public business, the DMV is a public business, Mary's Pizza, private business.
Or major companies who offer stock to the public.

Wouldnt that be awesome if some Muslim who owned a remote gas station refused to let an infidel buy gas when there was no other gas station around.

That would be AWESOME especially during a really hot summer day

like businesses who refused to sell to people because of the color of their skin or their sexual orientation, they would eventually go under.
I wouldn't patronize them.
