Good genetics BAD grower

I recently came across a decent amount of seeds in a bag and although the flower was poorly grown and cured produced very good medical effects(IMO) I smoke for pain and typically opt for the higher thc because it’s been what works. This definitely wasn’t high thc so I’m thinking it may have been a plant that produces certain terpenes or cannabinoids. With all above mentioned I got stoned while tending my plants (from these seeds) and had the idea of trying to take the seeds I have left(30)+ and trying to idk strengthen the genetics of whatever strain this is. My current plan is I’ve germinated 10 that have all sprouted their tap root and planted into solo cups and have them under 120watts of fluorescent tubes(5600k)at about 10 inches. My plan is to take the 5 healthiest plants and grow them to completion. While maybe taking the two strongest Like quickest growth and appearance smell that stuff. And some how cross breeding them. My concern is this sounds eerily similar to what European royalty attempted many a centuries ago. Well and we see how that worked... any tips and tricks along the way is appreciated. Will update regularly as I’m very interested gardening. Of al kinds (Photos below are 3-4 weeks maybe I forgot to write much and what I did isn’t dated the next biggest is 1 week the smallest sprouted 2 days ago)

Update: seems that 8 have sprouted thus far I am transferring to a veg tent on the edge as to not over saturate with light. In 7 days the strongest and quickest growing will be kept and the 5 most unhealthy will be culled

You should keep all 8 plants until they are sexed. You will need a male to breed with and its best to have more than one to choose from. Then you can pollinate all the females and use the seeds from the plant(s) that had the qualities you desire. Remember to keep everything labelled so you dont mix anything up.

I have a second tent I’m planning to set up for a male when i find one but so far I can’t determine any of the plants sex. Maybe I’m thinking to much but maybe you can better explain the difference between the nodes and pistils the photo below is what I’m assuming is a node not pistils and if so would the next photo help identify sexuality of plant
