I want to try growing a cannabonsai. I have this as a candidate for a tray. Or a small pot (plastic) can show pics.

I think you have to start then in real little pots like in that thread. They start with a 3" pot then eventually move to a liter. That would be a good final pot for it.

No garden stores with actual bonsai pots? The pots have a couple of holes in the bottom so you wrap a wire through them and when your plant gets bigger you tie the trunk down. That way it does not fall out when it starts getting top heavy. If you just want to grow a smaller plant then that pot would be fine. I was thinking of doing a bonsai myself and have some candidates growing, along with some beer cup grows.
