Goo

Back in 2005-2006 a buddy had some indoor called The Goo. This was northern Illinois so I have no idea if it came from clone from Cali or was from seeds. He didn't know much about it but I think his buddy was growing it.

Super coated bright green dank buds with a super dank flavor.

Im guessing this was afgooey or something similar?

Anyone know whats up with goo or afgooey. Is there a clone only around I could hunt down or someone working those kind of lines?

Just curious what's good.

Classic seeds prior

generic or now genus seed co….

Just scooped the last pack of strawberry goo from glg. Though after reading about the purple ticinensis (apparently it’s very recessive) I bet you’d find some nice afgooie leaners in that cross

Last pack of afgooey I seen I believe was kre8 genetics. Coulda sworn, but I was unable to find info on it doing a quick search. However I do have a friend who had it, and crossed it to Guicy banger by exotic genetics & he sent me some testers over the summer. I can ask him about it, and get back to you on how accurate my info is.

Gooeybreeder has it, story goes when he and his partner split, the partner took the afgoo name and Gooey got the goo name. Gooeybreeder used to hand out mega packs for free. Think there is a slight variation between the two, can’t remember if it’s the parents are reversed or something like that. It was good, just not strong enough for me, but gooey has put the work in on his line

Green Ribbon was a nice clone only strain that was Afgooey x Trainwreck. Exotic Genetix sells a Green Ribbon BX.

Im guessing it wa afgooey, I saw a decent amount of fire afgooey around the mid 2000s. Go to geneticsupply.com and check out gooey breeder, he works with true afgooey.

Believe exotic retired green ribbon and it hasn't been around for a while. Speaking of exotic i have a pack of the original cookies & cream in my collection I forgot about.

ya its been sold out everywhere for close to a few years, its definitely considered a retired strain as well as cookies & cream and a few other of exotics gear. I'm not big on exotic's stuff but some of his older original lines produced some really nice & epic phenos.

I had the original cut back in the day, and it was pretty good, but there are much better strains out there these days.

For sure with all the modern designer stuff around...green ribbon would probably be a decent strain to breed with and probably produced some gassy phenos. Have you ran the cookies & cream by any chance? Even those that's an older one I feel it could produce some bangers...also his red runtz line looked pretty good also almost snagged a pack of the galactic runtz as well. Sorry I'm sidetracking this thread.

to farther sidetrack I'm about to pop strawberries and cream f2 myself. believe red pop was a keeper of the strawberries and cream f2, pretty sure he said it in an ig live before the discord server.

ya red pop is from that. Strawberries & cream should be a good strain, I want to run some exotic but I have to dig into my compound genetics grape gas line crosses first, really want to run the gastropop and pink certz next

Back in the early to mid 2000's every county that grew in Northern California had a specialty strain that alot of growers would grow.
Mendocino was purps
Humboldt was OG and Bubba
Trinity was Grape Ape
Chico was Green Crack
And Nevada County was Afgooey.

Since Nevada county was the closest to the Nevada border all that shit went out east. All my friends up there used to grow it. Beautiful plant, had its own smell, super frosty, and produced real well. Sadly, times have changed and u can't find it unless u know some old school guys.
