The pharmaceutical industry has never been about curing anything, they treat symptoms. Just like doctors are not trained to find the root cause of those symptoms and just prescribe a pill to cover them. Anyone that has had health issues and half a brain should come to this conclusion.

And that's why I think the capitalist model is a failure.

They will sacrifice anything and anyone in their rapacious quest for profit.

They don't want competition; capitalists want monopolism and they'll happily bribe the entire political system to get it.

Dude. This shit’s just going to push me to kill. It’s not like we don’t already know they think like that, but for them not to have the foresight to recognize that mentality as morally reprehensible, they’d have to have an intellectual disability severe enough to preclude them from being as successful as they have been.

So, are you saying that "the entire political system" , a forcible monopoly in it's own right, must be present to prevent "forcible monopolies" from existing ?
