I'm gonna have to do this haha. Of course gonna have a sober person.. I dont knwo though, I feel like an absolutely terrifying experience is something we need.. I dont mind bawling my eyes out of fear, makes for a better story later.. Ill dig up this post again when I do and give a report, if any of you have one feel free to share :p

Also, unnk, youve shown me two of my absolute most favorite things.. Geocaching, and abarat. What else do you have under your sleeve for hours of entertainment? lol

I didn't read through the whole thread, but I'll offer my two cents anyways.

Why would you want to go somewhere with purported paranormal activity if you were tripping? There'd be no way to validate what you were experiencing unless you were recording what was going on (via video camera/digital recorder etc.). Therefore, you'd always be questioning the experiences you had within. Why wouldn't you just go sober? That way your claims would hold a little bit more validity (I'm not saying in the minds of others, but in your own mind).

Just answered your own question :) Leave it in your imagination. Some people like to push it when they are tripping... a paranormal creepy place would be a great place for that. if you have a good headspace and are experienced with psychs i dont see why you wouldnt want to experience it. you can always leave if it gets too heavy for you to handle

Theres classes you can take, just like for anything else lol. Its not a degree or anything, wont land you a job etc.. just a piece of paper that shows you have training through a "certified" instructor. Most societies will require a certification though not always. Its not a very lucrative field and theres not much money there. For most its a hobby or something personal.

Couldn't resist. ;)

I could take issue with a few things you've said, but you strike me as leaning more towards Joe Nickle than Ryan Buell, in other words, investigator rather than anomaly hunter.

This is a wonderful idea! Scary as shit for sure, but oh man the experience would be great. I've always steered clear of inducing fear while trippin dick...some new things to consider I must
