Going to paranormal places on psychedelics

I was just watching this show on chiller about crazy places like that burning coal under the ground in Pennsylvania, and just in general haunted places..

Now Im wondering what if I decided to go to some haunted place while on psychedelics.. I feel like itd be interesting and put a whole new spin on your paranormal point of view.. Sure terrifying maybe, but Im down. Lol As much as a refute paranormal instances and do have my own opinion on them. I just feel like doing this would be weird.. Just how psychedelics influence your thought. They turned my head 180 degrees around from when I started using them. Before Id see someone with the opinions as myself as insane.

But despite all the rage we are rats in a cage I guess :p

I bet it would be either awesome or life changing depending on the person perhaps. Imagination, thoughts and experiences I would say play a definite role in creating a new experience. You may ask yourself how open am I to the notion of such perplexity and the unknown which could determine how the experience may be?? All I know is I've had my fun with quite a few psycodelic drugs but never involving paranormal activities or places. I say go for it, you only live once lol

I remember once in high school I got questioned by a cop while LSD was sizzling up pretty effectively inside of me... Got caught, was contained, lol talk about introspection

I laugh at this now but...

Years ago, a friend and myself took 1/4 oz of shrooms each one night and decided to play Diablo and talked and laughed about the occult and paranormal when things went really creepy as we both started to see and hear things all around the room and house. We were somewhat amused at first but then when we realised we were experiencing the same manifestations at the same time we tripped right the F**k out and turned all the lights on and chilled with a crap load of weed. At the time, that was a severe amount of anxiety I put upon myself.....Diablo...LMFAO...

Certified paranormal investigator here.... Never thought about doing any investigating while tripping. Its bad enough just being sober because some places are just THAT creepy to begin with... not mention your imagination WILL get the better of you (sober or not). Ive thrown my shit down and ran out of places running top speed screaming at the top of my lungs all because my imagination manifested things that werent there. it all depends on a few things... how open your mind is... psychedelic experience, headspace. the last thing you want to happen while tripping in a strange unfamiliar location is to have a bad trip and not be able to calm yourself down so you can leave.

In my hometown of Buffalo there is an abandoned Psych Center that is scary as hell from the outside. Supposedly its haunted and whether or not ghosts are real that place gives off bad vibes just being near it. If you have the mental capacity to trip where men fear to tread all the more power to you. I just see bad news bears written all over it.

Theres classes you can take, just like for anything else lol. Its not a degree or anything, wont land you a job etc.. just a piece of paper that shows you have training through a "certified" instructor. Most societies will require a certification though not always. Its not a very lucrative field and theres not much money there. For most its a hobby or something personal.

other 716'ers?

i have up to 50 buildings from niagara falls to north collins under my belt

i do geocache stuff and as well urban exploring / paranormal stuff

im mainly into the history of the places

question how recent did you guys go in

you do know the only way to go through now you need a respirator... jsut for your guys safety if you do go back

but this is a great question mate, it adds a element of novelty to the situation, if you ask me

the ward in it self wasnt that scary if you are use to the old building type ie long corridorred hallways and what not

but pan siziling your self in a ward though iis a different story the weird and interesting turned into weird and obtrusive and scary

The thing about sketchy abandoned buildings that spooks me is not the very slim chance of some paranormal shit going down, it's the much more likely chance a psycho bum with syringe full of AIDS blood waiting for you.

So how does one become a certified instructor I wonder? Through a different certified instructor? This of course would lead me think that at some point someone just ordained themselves the know-it-all paranormal guru who is capable of handing out certifications to people. I could be wrong, but I just feel that's the direction this thing is going.

dont worry guys

its gonna gonna go to civil

there is no jury there

only litigation :D

and any judge will see that the jury GOT PAID that day

just because a jury said he didnt do it doesnt mean shit becasue the jury can say what they want the court has to follow it

and guess what double jepordy so no more criminal charges

but civil oh boy if he makes it out the prison with out being shanked for being a child killer hes gonna have not a penny to his name

keep faith

the same could be true for ANY type of instructor. Who deemed themselves the first college professor? Surely that person had an instructor too right? Paranormal is a very new field, less than 70 years old and just in the past 20 years there has been a lot of new technology that is becoming more readily available to investigators. Slightly off topic but I feel it necessary to put this out there, most people thing we investigators are trying to prove something when in reality we are trying to disprove and debunk and also paranormal investigation goes well beyond "ghost hunting". its a pretty extensive field and is continually growing. If this is something you enjoy I would suggest looking into cryptozoology

If you do choose to do this make sure you take someone with you who knows you are tripping and will stay sober so they can help you leave and stay safe if necessary. That little extra for insurance can make all the difference.
