Going to get a Jardin tent package, need help with setup please?

LOL, that's pretty cool, budbro18! And I figured it out myself, ha ha. I suppose the open flaps will let light in. Do you close them during the dark periods when in flower? A little stray light comes in the room at night from street lamps. I don't want to close off that window because I will want to open it in the summer. Do you think the extra duct for outside air is not needed then?

When they say not to let any stray light in during flower, I think that means none at all -- but I could be wrong. I come from a photography background having my own darkroom. Dark means dark, and maybe that's not necessary when it comes to growing. (I have even wondered if I can use this tent as a darkroom when I'm not growing. That would be awesome since I don't have it setup now.)

Most likely you will be okay with just the side vents... as far as for them letting in light, my vents are so low, the ambient light that shines in is mostly diffused by the screen for the dust and what isn't shines on the pots, not the plants. I've never had a hermie issue... but I'd imagine the more dark your dark is, the better.

I spent the whole day getting my grow room cleaned out and ready. The tent should be here tomorrow afternoon! I think I will set up a video camera to record myself putting it up, ha ha. If it turns out at all I'll edit it and post it.
