the color purple usually is an indication of colder weather. so if your weather is 70s and below then thats your issue or otherwise its strain.

I dont think theres anything to worry about. The colors look beautiful. What strain??

Thanks .. the color reminds me of japanese maples .... as for strain .... your guess is as good as mine, got the clones off my cleaning lady back in the spring .... so lets call it `floor cleaner`

Indica strains are more likely to turn purple during flowering, some think cooler temps help, but indoor kushs turn purple to. They come from afghan pakistan region. Another myth, they are more potent, no. But enjoy colors

I read that purple stems and leaves are called sink and green they are called source and they are purple because they have sinked up with nitrogen to be used in floweringand the green are a source of chloraphill for photosintesis. or something like that.

The purple phenotype comes from a strain of Indica, plain and simple, like the above poster posted. When the weather gets cooler, if your plant is the phenotype or was crossed with something that had the genetics it may turn purple, leaves and buds. I have two plants, bagseed, and the buds are purple and the leaves turn purple when it gets really cold at night. Just the genetics and temps dude!
