Going on vacation Need watering device

this may sound silly but i saw on tv this glass blown globe with a stem, basically you fill the globe up with water, you then bury the stem in the soil the way it work as the soil dries it realeses oxygen airbubbles up the stem and into the globe which then releases water slowely it supposed to be the perfect amount of water for any plant i think it sells for 5-10 bucks and it waters without refilling for 2 weeks. damn i wish i remember what it was called i just saw this last week. ill try to see if i can find it

dont count on that working... an advance drip system on a timer would be your best bet... i would just water them bitches big time right before you leave and hope jahjah looks after your crop while you're gone

Thanks! Dude aquaglobe looks cool haha. Im thinkin about using your plan 7leaves water the hell outta em!! ill be gone for about seven days I just hope they dont shrivel up. I was thinking about being getto and making a drip system out of a water bottle but i dunno how effective that would be

water pump on a timer.

I have plants in 5gal buckets. They only need to be watered once a week to begin with.

What stage are your plants at?

I could almost guarantee you 1 FULL week will be too long. I water my plants until 100% saturation EVERY time I water (water comes out the bottom of the pot) and they're good 4-5 days at the most... they'll be drooping in the 5th day. 7 days would be REALLY be pushing it. If they're still very small, you might be okay since they'll consume less water, but then again, you're light will be on more, drying it out faster. They might survive, but they'll most certainly be stressed badly.

Personally, I would either get a trusted friend or rig some other kind of device.

will definetily work and very simple, may sound unethical but you can prob buy a small water pump at walmart use it for a week and return it you just need to kind of play with the timer for the time:water ratio for your pot
