She really grew over the past few days.. got my clip fan in so I have some more space now. Not a perfect blanket canopy, but she's getting good light penetration. I'm happy with the leaf colour.. root structure has been great needs new water daily lol.

This girl is killing it, she is now just 19 inches tall and is over 22" wide which is pretty awesome such a short veg time. Root mass is healthy white and thriving and we can see the first formation of flowers on top. Lets consider this the beginning of week 1 of flower. I think the leaves look really healthy let me know if you notice anything to the contrary.

She is looking frign awesome now, colour is great, buds are starting to form.. stems are getting much stronger.. pretty pumped it is looking like a smaller version of my old girls from back in the day. I haven't defoliated these girls at all. It was something I never did before opinions will it need it so I can get light down to the lower buds?

@Thundercat you think I should defoliate at all should I wait to see if buds spread out? I ask because you seem to have seen all my posts.
You can defoliate under the net. The canopy is pretty even and anything under that canopy at this point won't get enough light. That stuff can go now, if not already.

I would let the tops form a little bit more then see which ones will actually need some more help down the road.

Perfect just wanted to make sure I'm on the right path I'm not used to having space restrictions. So I was able to train outwards more with my old plants, overall I'm happy with the canopy without having to actually scrog it has a pretty even spread.

I don't "defoliate" ever. I have done it for tests, and I"ve seen others side by sides, and the defoliated plants produce less. Its not usually a crazy difference, but its a difference.

Personally I prefer to selectively prune my plants. I typically will remove a fan leaf here and there in flower so allow more light to the other leaves below it. I hate when I see people defoliate their plants and then they are lighting the floor for a week while the plant spends energy regrowing its leaves so that it can get back to bud production.

I always leave the bottom layer of leaves unless they die off. That bottom layer I consider my light catch so I am not lighting my medium. When I prune plants I look for spots where 1 large leaf is blocking 2-3 smaller ones, or blocking another plant. Then I remove said large leaf :). I might take a couple leaves of here and a few off there.

I am all for lollipopping the bottom of plants that won't ever get any light. However I try to avoid anymore plant removal then nessecary so I don't stress the plants. I try to plant ahead the best I can to get the plant size and shape I want so I don't have to cut it up later.

Trimmed off like 10 leaves today just so lover buds were getting hit with light and I rotated it one side seemed shorted than the other so I pointed it towards the better light... she's 22" tall now.. no wider not because she's not growing but because there's literally no space to be wider lol. I need my other plant to finish so I can have the space for this one.. I'm gonna either need a bigger tent... only grow one plant in the current tent or two with no training or... donno teaches me for buying a small tent lol.

So alot of stocks are getting thick, now the issue is that some of the smaller ones REALLY stretches to make it to the top canopy.. they are at the top but the stocks are really thin on those ones what do you guys think leave them or cut them off. Were at the end of week 1 of flower, so if I'm gonna do it it will be now..

Buds are starting to form now, canopy was extremely thick and some lower buds weren't getting light so I trimmed a bunch more leaves off last night. Still plenty there and they are looking really healthy. Gave her some awesome blood bloom booster tonight, stretch has basically stopped at 22" tall which is fine stocks are thickening up excited to see the progress over the next few weeks as I see bud size and density show.

They are off to a good start. It can be hard to be patient once the white hair starts poking through. But patient we all must be. FYI - just posted some pics of my two ladies. They have entered Week #7 today.

@StareCase checked out you're pictures, what a change from 5 weeks when you posted on this thread things are coming along really well, you're buds look nice long and dense. My main issue is side space, my tent is actually 36" x 20" which is fine for natural plant growth but I may need to screen next time to keep it a bit thinner. Right now I'm at 33 watts/ sqft which seems to be working well. I probably will never order from rapid led again... the price jumps like crazy I'm in Canada so us to Canadian $ then taxes shipping and border fees were 90 fucking $ love the light but maybe hlg will be my next go.

I do notice the plants growing away better from the rapid then the vipar but overall I'm happy with trichrome development on my flowering plant which maybe the vipar is boosting.

So this girl is 23" tall now, bud leaves are growing sugar already. I'm noticing a small ph swing issue so leaves are getting damaged at the top, I'm going to make a fresh batch of ro water for this girl tomorrow. I've been using tap because generally Ro comes out as a high ph and it's easier to use ph up from tap.

Overall growth is awesome I've trimmed maybe 35 leaves over the last week because I needed buds to get light. Its amazing it looks so bushy it's like I barely trimmed pretty happy with the pheno I got so far. If there is any thing more you guys think i should do let me know.. oh i also turned my fan up to strengthen the stems.

So slightly more damage overnight, but now I've changed all my water with rodi. New nutes and apparently my root system had eaten my bubbler so I got it out of there and back into the bottom on the bucket.

The plant is looking good other than the browning issue, buds are forming well I would say stretch is completely done there's so much root mass in my bucket this short one only holds 4 litres of water now..

it does window drive me crazy though these leaf and ph issues, I never had them when I grew before I think it's the water where i live now, but I'm sure the rodi will solve it( I hope im sure) lol. This plant is progressing definently faster than my last one did.

More damage to the leaves today, hopefully just residual from prior once the other plant is done I will move my better led (from rapid) over so this plant is getting more direct light, it is still growing well but I'm sure I'll notice a difference in flowering when that happens.

Wow this plant smells sweet, it's almost overpowering my plant which is almost done at such an early stage in flower, scary how much this girl is going to smell.

Not much to report today... picture of the leaf damage, it's not getting any worse really or much worse. Small amount of leaf trimming going on every few days.. leaf mass is very tight due to lack of space so it is necessary, smell is nice my vivosun 4"carbon filter doesnt seem to be taking the smell out well on a 36" by 20" area filters only a month old took it out of package and hooked it up a month ago.. worked pretty well for 3 weeks any ideas?
