thanks man i going to grab some of those. btw i forgot to say but nice clean setup , may you get a n elbow :weed:
Appreciate it bro. Hope the stones work out for you.

go big or go home ! look forward to seeing results
That was exactly what I wanted to do with my second grow. Seeds should be here week after next, so things'll get going then. I've only got 4 little seedlings going now and only 1 is in hydro.

I still have basically full bottles of FoxFarm Grow Big hydro and Tiger Bloom from last grow, so I'll use those for now. I really want to switch over to the Humboldt Master A&B program but due to the cost of it and the fact I have so much of the other stuff left, I'm going to wait.

Thanks, I'll look into it. Like I said, I've got plenty of this FF stuff, so I'm not really looking to switch anytime soon. Good to know for future reference.

Glad to have you along bro. I sure hope this one will be better. Looks to be the recipe for success. Hoping for a lb. lol. :bigjoint:

how much did you pay for that tent
after buying and having it would you tell others to buy one or would you try to DIY one (ive seen those tents but they look like they can ezly be DIY'ed)

Scrib'd, have you read up on a vertical setup? you have more than enough light and the results, speak for themselves
Eh, I'm already set up for a conventional lighting setup. I've seen a few vertical grows and they look cool but not something I'm terribly interested in.

I got it for $125+ shipping. It was a "seconds" meaning the price was reduced by $90 because the interior wasn't as white as the manufacturer wanted. It looks plenty white to me.

I'm really a DIY kind of guy, so I looked into that route and found that it was too much work to get something even 1/2 as nice as the store bought tent. For the price and time you'd put into a DIY venture, I'd skip the hassle and just go store bought. The quality of this tent is excellent.

hey sick,

what strains are you going to grow this time round?
Trainwreck and Kings Kush

My first post, Im along for the ride too, looking to run a similar setup(dwc bucket sys) I cant wait for the action to start :eyesmoke:
Awesome, welcome to the forum and my thread. Glad you could drop by. Good luck with your setup. I should be getting started here within a week! :joint:

Damn man....went to check on your grow and just got the bad news. The new setup looks good and is sure to take the sting out of the last little painful tragedy. I just had my clone-dome heating pad die on me and I was super pissed about losing 6 clones...can't imagine losing blooming beauties.

I'm glad you went with Trainwreck, its on my list to play with one day.

Congrats on graduating, the first few months after walking are the best...accomplished and free with no responsibilities.

Yeah, it is pretty bad news but practically everything was salvageable. If it isn't smokable, it'll be made into hash or edibles. As a matter of fact, I harvested the remaining buds and they should turn out much better than the toasted ones. The trics were about 50% amber, so hopefully it'll get me more stoned than the prematurely "harvested" buds. Sucks about you losing clones. I lost two myself when the cab overheated basically ending the genetics I had going.

I've heard great things about the trainwreck. Unfortunately, it isn't the actual trainwreck since TW is a clone-only but it should be an awesome, uplifting smoke. The kush will help put me to sleep in the evenings.

Thanks for the congrats too bro. It was a long journey and I'm glad its over but now I've got to find a job in this less-than-stellar economy. The feeling of liberation is great but I know it is only very temporary.

I too love the setup. Follow my violator kush grow as I think its gonna be sick. You just posted a comment but just wanted to make sure you subscribed. I did just scribe here. If your leaning towars a kush. Kush Grow Op....Violator Kush-Barney's Farm . Get those girls in the ground I wanna see what this setup can produce. I had a somewhat similar setup but it seemed my root systems were getting too much water. I couldnt figure it out and then I got a aeroponic one and could keep the water that sprayed up onto the root systems in that tank. I said screw it and just went back to soil cause I could not waste any more time or seeds. Any suggestions? Always other rooms to be made.

Thanks, I appreciate it! I'm subscribed to your grow. I'd like to follow it since I really want to grow VK in the future. I'm hoping for at least a pound with this setup and if each plant in my dwc yields 1oz, that'll be a lb right there. Just waiting for seeds...

Sounds like your previous dwc attempt may have been unsuccessful because there weren't enough bubbles. I've got a 600gph pump for both tubs and I'm considering adding a second pump and more stones for even more bubble action. The roots only take up the water they need, so if the plants look overwatered in a hydro setup, its because there isn't enough oxygen getting to the roots.

Time for some pictures even though not much has happened. I've got 3 bagseed going strong. The other three sprouts are trainwreck, lemon skunk, and la woman that were in soil but not doing well. I think they were getting really burnt by the super hot FFOF, so hopefully they can recover and thrive in the dwc tote. Still waiting on my attitude order to get here. Should be any day now....

Lonely, empty tubs
