Yeah, I'll bet your EC is pretty low. Seems like this stuff is way stronger than they claim it is. If I went by the feeding schedule, they wouldn't be unhealthy plants, they'd be dead as fuck. At 1.2EC, I'm still getting leaf curl on the LA woman. Bitch is 4 weeks into flower, WTF?

Trainwreck is a force not to be reckoned with. It grows how it pleases and that is typically retarded and stretchy. The name is self-explanatory on how it grows. It looks like a total mess and HAS TO BE tied down to prevent it from falling over on itself. I had the light within 8 inches of the tops the whole time and they still stretched like crazy. I suggest flowering it as soon as you can if you don't want it to turn out to be a huge beast. I only vegged mine for 4 weeks.

Hope it helps, not discourages. These plants are crazy looking and kind of a pain sometimes but the bud formation and overall health of them should yield some incredible smoke. I've got to get some pics up. Its amazing how much growth has occurred even since the last pic update.

Wait a Seconed? You said PPM!!! Isnt that different then EC? HEHE So confused I need to get one of these TDS/EC/PPM gizmos.... Good thing my clone bubbler is small.

Haha, yes they are different. I must have been thinking one thing and typed another. I only use EC. But yeah, once you get a meter, I think you'll understand the concept a whole lot better.

LOL! I did the same thing with the first batch of TW in soil. Apparently, FFOF is way too hot for them.

Too bad I don't personally know you, I've got two freshly rooted clones in my veg box that are probably not going to make it into my flower tent because of a lack of space. I'd rather dump them off on someone than throw them away. Oh well....

That would be awesome to have the same pheno grown under different growing styles to compare yield, potency, and taste. Not that your style of growing is much different than mine, but there are still differences. Seriously, if you were close I'd unload them onto you.

Just smoked some TrainWreck. I like it for the easy going energy it gives me. Nice even cerebral buzz. It kinda creeped up a little more aprox 5 minutes after smoking. Smooth hits left a thick hashy flavor. I didn’t get any burnout, just wanted to smoke a little more after about 1.5 hours.

Nice. I've never personally smoked it since all the TW I've encountered at the dispensaries was garbage. Hopefully mine turns out much better. I'm hoping for a nice energetic high for day time use that lasts a few hours.

Ha actually I don't have anymore space either. I'm already scratching my head trying to figure out how I'm going to fit three more buckets into my flowering area. Once I get down to FC we can trade some clones, I should have some legit space down there too. Since this is my first grow I didn't commit much space to it in case I failed miserably. That pretty much eliminates expansion options, at this time.

I didn't get that meter either (go figure). 2 days ago when I was looking at them the Hanna box said pH/EC/PPM. Yesterday when I went in the pH part was crossed off the box in sharpie. The lady said they were just EC/PPM meters and didn't do pH. I don't know if they're re-using boxes or if she was confused but I'm definitely confused and am probably gonna go back to Ebay and wheel and deal with the dude who owes me a new pH meter. Birthdays tomorrow so I'll definitely have some cash for whatever meter I want so eventually we'll get to compare EC.

Your plants are looking great too. You get the LA woman dialed in?

lol, yeah you are. Too bad you don't have the room. And you are obeying the 6 plant limit, so you can't take any more additions anyway. I'll find a way to get them into my tent one way or another. I've already invested enough time and electricity into getting these bitches rooted, might as well grow them all the way out.

Sounds like the meters were exactly what I've got. Mine's waterproof and does temp and EC/TDS but not pH. Too bad they didn't have the combo ones...we could be comparing EC numbers right now. Oh well....

I think I've got the plants dialed in for the most part. The LA woman is doing much better but she's a touch under 1.0 EC right now going into the 5th week of flower. Doesn't seem like enough to me but the plant says otherwise.

Haha, yeah. They are finally starting to get frosty. Wonder when the TW is going to get a smell to it. The LA woman smells amazing, kind of like pinesol and diesel mixed together. Yum!

No. I can't move the TW at all so I have to use a pump to drain and refill the res. The totes aren't elevated, so they wouldn't benefit from drains anyway. Next grow, things will definitely be different. ;-)
