God's Haze Outdoor

Well this is going to be my very first grow journal and hopefully everything is going to work out for me.
The genetics are God's Haze from Duke of Cannabis. ( http://www.canadianseedexchange.com/shop/item.aspx?itemid=181 )
Initially I wasn't planning on starting a grow journal, but thought It would be cool because there is absolutely no growing information that I can find on God's Haze. I am germinating only two seeds, (yes I know, only two) but that is because I only have five seeds and am wanting to save a few for indoor to hopefully compare results.
My growing experience is next to nill, not ever finishing a successful grow. But hopefully I can pull this one out my ass.
I am planning on having the plants in soil by Thursday night in individual containers.
I will try to keep up with this thread as much as I can, and i should have lots of pictures.

Wish me luck!

Hey,

Seeds- God's Haze
Pots- Two 10 inch pots (biggest i could find at the stores)
Soil- Dark earth, mixed with perlite
Germination- Started Monday June 8th
Tap roots- 48 hrs

Both seeds germinated rather quickly, one tap root about 4mm and the other 6mm. Meant to take pictures but forgot... I will see if it is light enough out still and go take some, if not, i will take some in the morning and post them on tomorrow.
I will also try to take pictures of the grow location.
I feel really good about this grow, and I hope I get a female out of this!

percolate? What the hell is that? I'm guessing that you are confusing it with perlite maybe?

Well here is just a quick shot of the pots before I took them to the location. I should have my camera back by the next time i visit my grow loco, so I should have some nicer shots up.

What would people recommend to do for any pests?
I am just up from a small creek next to a swampy area. Are there any certain insects I should be watching for? I am planning on taking some chicken wire to put around the pots on my next visit.

Day 7-
Well it has been exactly one week since I have taken my pots to my location, and here are the results so far...

Pot#1- Seedling is about 2 1/2 inchs tall, looking like it is trying to get closer to the sun. Stem is very thick and strong.

Pot #2- Seedling M.I.A... I dug up a bit of soil with my hands to see if I could find the seed and tap root, but could not... The soil seemed undisturbed, so I don't think an animal has taken it... Looks like I will have to germinate another seed in replace...
^any ideas??^

Battery ran out on my camera, so I could not take pictures of my location...
I took some pictures of some turkey nests with hatched eggs and various other pics.. I'll post em up later.

I would start the seeds inside man, you will have a much better success rate. Veg them under CFL's for a week or two and then put them outside. You will thank me

Just began germinating another seed.

Will be in soil by Friday.

Also will be adding chicken wire around my pots when I visit, and hopefully some slug bait.

Here is a pic of my grow site that was taken in the early spring..

Well, here goes to another disappointing week...
Firstly, my third seed failed to germinate.
Secondly, my plant was rained out. In the past week my area has had inches, and inches of rain and some hail. There were no signs of any animals, just water "dibits" in my soil.

I have two seeds left that I was intending on growing indoors... Not sure what I am going to do right now. Is it worth it for me to start two more plants this late?

Anyway, here are a couple pictures i took today of my grow location...

...and I thought rainbows brought good luck...

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for watching...
