Go ahead and Lie to me

I find it an interesting juxtaposition that both sides of the political spectrum cheer leaks when they work for them, and rail against them when they don't.
Why are we okay with so much secrecy?
We all say 'well sure some stuff should be top secret", but where does it end?
Personally, I think our government has lost any right to keep ANYTHING secret.
Thoughts (and I'm sure some name calling)?

We live in the new Security State. It's one of the hallmarks of fascism.
