i dont get the sending lights to china to reverse engineer part, like why?, there is nothing hidden no magic to uncover, hlg literally tell you all the specs on the website?.

So you can have your knockoffs designed for your new business venture.
Much cheaper than paying an engineer to do drawings, testing etc.

yer but the guy in china doesnt need the light in his hands to copy, he could just go on hlg's website and copy the specs.

And still have to do the engineering. With board in hand all they need to do is copy.
Just having a bare circuit board custom made is not cheap from scratch

the man in china has an led lighting company he has men that lay out pcb's in their sleep, this isnt as hard as you think it is.

I must have gone through that youtube video 3-4 times now and I can't find where they talk about this. I just see grown men asking each other how high their lights should be, googling pictures of insects, and converting celsius to fahrenheit.
I guess I'm just not ready for that type of grand master level shit. Can somebody post a friggin time stamp or something. Video is 2.5 hours long.

like i say he owns a lighting company he can churn out any pcb you can imagine, its what they do.
the specs would be enough, board size, diode count, diode type ect.
like i could understand if you wanted to make a perfect copy so you could pass them off as the real thing then having the light in your hands would be valuable, but just making something that resembles a scorpion diablo with 8 board rather than 6, they dont need the light.

so you think if i contacted kingbrite or mejui for for a custom quantum board order of 10,000 boards, and i said i want them 6.833″ x 11.25" , with 648 5000k samsung 301h and 16 660nm samsung lm351, they would say yes fine we can do it as long as you send us one first so we can copy it???.
