I don't believe in either. Found this interesting, the ship stuck in artic ice is there for global warming.

Here is the same old ploy - claim that something has already been proven false - claim that it has been debunked. Give no real evidence, simply presume that the saying of it is the fact of it. You folks really do live in a world devoid of facts or evidence - but then I suppose it is a necessary state, otherwise you would simply shake to pieces at the prospect of reality. In short there is no concrete evidence that global warming is a myth and plenty of evidence that it is happening.

Your debunkers stand to make or perserve their trillions invested in the status quo and inducing people to believe it isn't happening. The global warming believers get a couple of billion a year in grants - now who are you going to believe?

What is it with you folks and Gore? Is Gore the only person who has anything to say about global warming? Also, you seem to have a problem with uncertainty. Just because the San Andreas fault is overdue for the big one does not mean that it won't happen and that earthquakes have been debunked.

Or.... do you not believe that the fault will ever let loose because it hasn't yet?

I grow tired of my liberal alarmist friends who are certain that global warming will either destroy the planet (it won't), or scrub the earth of mankind (it won't), all global warming will do is change the way things work for mankind on earth. If you don't want that sort of thing to happen, then do as you must to correct it. If you are willing to spend what it takes to safeguard civilization from the worst of the results of global warming (change agricultural areas, erect sea walls, conserve fresh water and the like) then get to getting. it isn't getting any colder any time soon.

Put it this way - global warming is going to cost folks a lot of the most valuable real estate on the planet - if you are wlling to give up Manhattan island, then keep burnining that coal.

So if we pay a carbon tax, erosion will stop and the ice caps will suddenly rebound and all endangered species will suddenly flourish?

I have plastic items yes, do I know where they come from? yes. If you are talking about supporting an industry financially I admit that here and there I do.

It is not me saying I have no choice....because I do and I use it. The alternatives are making themselves prudent and I vote with my dollars. I spend less than average on petroleum and intend to continue along that road.
