What'd up people!

Ok just need some quick answer for this weird scenario. Last feeding was four days ago (end of today will be four) and its like about half dry a bit more maybe. Usually I would water them every two days or so. I hope I didnt over water them. My main concern is how much water (ml wise) do I feed each 2 gallon pot? Other then that my girls are great! Also I jst got two Hempstar girls :hump:

All them girls are happily chillaxing.

I had the same question myself, growing in 2 gallon pot. My not so scientific search found 1 quart of water per gallon of soil, or about 2 liters. It's been working well for me, my waterings have been about once a week. How often is going to depend on soil/temp/humidity so each situation is different. And water slow, that ensures you get a nice penetration and some flushing with each watering.

True said about each situation being different.

2 litres of water and once per week? I guess it works for you because I like to tend to them so I would like to water more frequently. I usually use 1.5 litres and it takes two three days to dry depending on the temperature outside. I even think thats too much water.

All I can do it wait for it to dry....patiently!

AWWWW CRAp...I forgot to plug back in the lights after some tuning and they had 9 hours of sleep. Is that going to affect anything to my girls?

I think I know what the problem is. Its too wet in there. The humidity is at 68% and the soil isnt getting dry. They dry metre says 5 and today is day 5. My girls looks like they need food, light green and a little wilting. I cant feed it when its itnt dry yet! Over water!

I know a dehumidifier can solve the problem but will a small one solve the problem. Because these things are expensive, and I cant find any small ones. Only the huge ones with 350watts!!!! jees

As far as the 9 hour sleep, that might not be a killer. Depends what schedule you had going. Was it 24/0? A timer is a big help, less than $10 for the most economical ones.
Humidity is tougher. Can't think of any cheap way of getting that down. About the only thing that comes to mind is setting up fans to blow at the soil. That might increase the evaporation rate. Actually, it would have to increase the evaporation rate, but not sure if it would be enough to make a difference. That's my best shot at it.

I actually have a timer, it was sleeping time so I unplugged it (stupid me) and plugged something else in and forgot to replug it back in. As for lighting, it is still on a vegging lighting at 18/6 schedule. But now I have this one mess up 9 hour sleep situation that could mess things up or am I being over concerned?

After rearranging them, I am really concern with them not getting the nutrients they need. They are clearly going lighter green (bottom centerish) as the other are flourishing (top row).

They're even starting to have small amounts of brown spots. whats happening? It better not be those Hempstar!

I also think when I mixed my batch it wasnt half and half like i usually do it (perlite and soil). It was only 1/3 of the mixture so this is also why it might retain water for a longer period of time. This would mean I would have to use less water per pot. Damn my girls need food.

The 9 hour sleep isn't great, but probably won't matter much as long it's the only one. Your big problem is the nute/water situation.
At this point, I think you best option is to foliar feed. I don't have experience with it, but I have seen some examples on riu that are miraculous. Maybe someone else can suggest another option.

Maybe try throwin a lil piss into the mix... lol
I sprayed with a mixture of urine once..(indoors)
stunk up the whole room, but i could tell the plants loved it (maybe)

hey my frient in think u forgot to pop some holes in those bags so thew watter cabnt excape to the bottom of the bags so the roots may get nasty as the soil is wet all the time umust POP SOME HOLES IN THOSE BAGS at the verry bottom.
this if u havent already did so :P

PEACE!

Foilar feedage might be the way to go because its still a little wet today (5 on the soil meter) 5 days now!!!! Less water for next time.

LMAO....musta been a stinky lesson lol

There are already pre set holes in the botton and side of the bags for proper drainage. Thanks tho.

Last night I gave the girls a little pruning as it was getting pretty dense in the middle. My girls range from 8 to 12 inches tall. I was wondering would this be a good timing to switch to flowering and the different height doesnt affect it much or does it?

Thank you

The height shouldn't be much, if any, of an issue. These were started at the same time? These should be at least 3 footers at maturity, maybe a bit taller. That should be a pretty good harvest. I'm a micro grower so a grow of this size looks huge to me.

dude if you are worried about hummidity in your room don't foiler feed...let them dry out , they will...btw they don't look like they "NEED TO BE FEED'' but they're your girls do what you want!!!and further more when those plants switch to 12-12 PLEASE tell me you have a bigger room for them!!

Glassblower seems a bit more experienced than I with foliar feeding. The humidity was in the back of my mind as maybe being not such a good thing for foliar. Maybe try a light foliar feed on one plant, see how it goes before committing further.

Oh yeah thanks a lot. Yep all start at the exact same time but some are obviously dominating the other. 3 footers are going to be a bit cramped in there.

Yeah more water in the air isnt going to help with my humidity. Currectny looking at mini dehumidifiers and in the process of ordering it.

Letting them dry is what I am doing with an extra fan in there. They dont look like they need to be fed but they're going super light green for some reason. Its been six days and today was suppost to be nutrients feed. No I do not have a bigger room for them as this is the flowering room. I plan on keeping a few as mothers and in total have 22 total in there.
