Gosh, I guess I still don't get it. Here's what I'm understanding from your story..
There were a bunch of users on icmag who apparently had different cuts and were arguing over what was legit or not. So at that point some weed guru used ganja magic to turn those cuts all into one genetically common cut and called them the forum cut. Do I have it right? Could you also please post links to specific posts in forum threads that reference this miracle as it happened. It does sound awe inspiring to say the least.
Who said they were arguing over what they had? They all passed it around to each other from one source of another and guess what? All have the same "forum" cut.

Hey PJ there's a little miscommunication going on, ill try to help clear:
The ICMag "Forum Cut" is legit cookies. The "confusion" in that thread is from ppl who THOUGHT they had GSC. They were comparing characterists of their cut, trying to confirm what they held. Most ended up having New Wave, or an S1 of what has since become known as the "Forum Cut".
A circle of growers on IC passed the cut between each other, hence the alias of the "Forum Cut".
^ Mithrandir420 has the Forum Cut (one of 3 main GSC cuts: [Forum, Platinum/OGKB, Animal])

After reading the threads there I think I am inagreement with Med fx and others that there are three main phenos and that the forum cut is the thin mints cut. Sure I want mine to be legit, but honestly she yeilds so low that I am only going to run her for myself and patients who request it. So whether it is or not doesn't make much difference to me. (But I believe she is.
) I will say this... she is one of the frostiest I have ever grown. Trichome development is outrageous on this one. I am really looking forward to finally trying her.

Say Mith, how big was your GSC when you put her into flower? I keep reading that GSC is a low yieldier and that she is also a slow grower. Both of my Thin Mint and Platinums are growing like crazy and I have been told that the GSC outdoors is a high yieldier by some who have grown it (not sure if it was GSC or not since I did not see it). What size lights are you using? I was just waiting for my Platinum clones to finish rooting and I was going to run both next month after vegging them under T5's for three or four weeks. They certainly like the T5's right now.
And those pics certainly look frosty for sure, but not convinced if you could recoop your electric bill at a club with those. Anyway, thanks.

Honestly I guess I don't even care anymore. Thin Mints this, Forum Cut that, OG KushBreath here, Animal Cookies there.. It's all Cookies, and at the end of the day it's all just weed. It's good weed, but there's other good weed too, and some of it yields strong and fast.

They do yield horribly. But that one was in a corner of the room, in a tray and nutes meant for other varieties. She didn't get grow to her full potential. I am confident that I can get a better yield, but she will still be a low yielder.

mine are 38 days in and they are easily over 2oz already and obviously nowhere near done swelling.....Im staying optimistic but im hoping to hit just under 3oz on my ogkb

I have both platinum cookies and OGKB. Not the same strain.
Platinum cookies is a cross, OGKB is a kush dom pheno of original GSC
I don't worry, I lab test. That way I know exactly how dank it is.

I believe Mo's cut of GSC has the potential to be high yielding if topped and given a long veg time. It stacks up colas fat.
