Ginger makes Cannabis cooking amazing!

Hello,

I've been cooking and making weed butter for about 7 years. My ALL TIME favourites are:

- pot-and-pumpkin pie
- weedy ginger cookies
- white-chocolate raspberry cheesecake with a graham-marijuana crust

I only love the recipes I make with ginger, cinnamon, allspice, etc. For some reason the taste of the canni-butter with the spices is just TO DIE for!!!

I love cookies for sharing because everyone loves cookies and they are so easy to transport.

That's what I have to say about that...I'm new here, this is fun!

High Yessica :) nice to meet you. I have to agree with you...ginger is the bees knees. You would love my Caramel Apple Gooey cakes...they have tons of ginger, allspice, cloves, nutmeg and cinnamon. I also make some fresh ginger cookies that are great for cancer patients or anyone with stomach issues.

you must post your cheesecake recipe :)

Oh I totally forgot - I made a marijuana Carrot cake for my friend's uncle who was undergoing cancer treatment. He really liked it! Also with the spices I like in thurrrr....

In the actual cheesecake recipe there is no butter, just in the crust. I have an easier time controlling the amount of butter in each serving with cookies rather than a cake or pie, but it's fun to experiment.

This is the recipe:

The first time I made a pie/ cake crust with butter I used old cookies that we didn't care for the flavour as much, crushed them up, and then added more butter for glue. Some of my less chronic friends thought they were hearing the trees talking to them...so that time they may have been a little strong - hahaha

How do you measure the amount per serving? I usually have the cookies 0.6-1 gram of shake or weed (equivilent usually to 2 tsp of butter per serving).

This is the my version of the above recipe - because I like pretty things.

Jeezus! That looks incredible :clap::clap: thanks for the link...will def be checking it out.

All of my cookies are 150 mg each, except for my Caramel Apple cookies - they are 75 each. My standard butter uses 150 grams of popcorn/trim to 8 sticks of butter.

I love the idea of using the cookies for pie crusts ;)

image.jpg That sounds awesome! I was always sticking to the sweet baking, but I should branch out. I think I would love it in ANYTHING spicy.

I have not, but have you ever tried it in soups? I make a carrot ginger thai soup, that a little dallop of butter would blend into quite nicely...

I have had different experiences with the amount of cannibutter I can consume when it is in it's raw form vs. baked.

I've snacked on 2 or 3 raw cookies (because I sometimes luuurve raw cookie dough) and found they had a simular effect to 1 cooked cookie.

Or, in point of fact, it is most likely the time it takes your body to metabolize the fat molecules. And baked cookies must metabolize faster.

I may not be the best tester for strength - I tend to move on to cookie 2 or 3, before the first is doing it's thing...

I think I need virgin blood...bring on the olds....

You are pretty funny Y :) I consume quite a lot of cookie dough myself when It is cookie day. I am so not a good product tester.

I have been told that even an already baked cookie will hit faster if you heat it in the microwave about 15 to 30 seconds...
