Here we have it!
My grow has grown! :D
It now lives inside my closet (2deep-2.5width-4height) feet

The interior of the grow space is all painted in flat white.

Home made reflector, made out of cardboard, wood, and various plasticized matter.

The buildup is essentially the same as the previous prototype.

I also got a whole new set of CFLs.

The new hood holds up to 5 Bulbs, and in it's current configuration has the following:

1 x 125W (600eq) CFL Daylight 6500K
2 x 23W (120eq) CFL Daylight 6500K
2 x 23W (120eq) CFL Soft white 2700K

That seems like enough light! It gives the entire grow closet a heavenly glow. LOL

The plants are enjoying it too. They are just under 4 inches tall, but are super bushy.

You can see in one of the pics, where I topped the plant. @ new stems can be seen developing too!

Damn nute burn is still present on some leaves, despite a strict water only Diet.

Short and bushy! Just the way I like em

Topping. The new growth has started, and its been in 12 hours!

The big bad bulbs! In order from R to L - daylight,softwhite,daylight,softwhite,daylight120W

The new grow space! Much bigger, much better!

Closeup of the planters sitting under the hoodlight. The fans keep things so cool, I have the bulbs an inch away from the plants, and they're doing fine so far

Nope! Now that you mentioned it, I am going to swap them around each day, so they get the full light frenzy :)

May jig up an auto slow rotating table for the plants, so they constantly move, getting the variable lights.

Its really simple, just strip the wires off of the end of the phone charger, and also of the fans.
Match up coloured wires, join them. Your done!

Pics from today:

Have added training wires to the pots, so I can spread the growth out. Half baked ScrOG!
New growth and sites where I topped my plants can be seen!
few other new branches formed by LST can be seen too.
Some nute burn still visible, despite a flush, and no more nutes this past week.
On the bright side, all the newer leaves are great! Some though look like they are curling a bit

Well, let me know what you think!

Well, there's the closeup! Nothing too special happening
Hopefully soon!

See how this one leaf is all crooked? :s Whats up with that? It's one of the newest grown points of the plant.

So like I said, no calyx growth visible.
Will be flowering by force soon anyway.

More updates:

Week 4 and a half (38 days from start of grow.
Topping like a mad man.
I just went crazy and snipped all the new growths. I WANT COLAS!
Snipped 8 new shoots (at nodes) so hopefully I shall get 16 new growths in a couple of days time.
I also snipped of half of some fan leaves fingers to get some more light to the sites.

I am pseudo ScrOGing the grow. All new stems are being trained to grow toward the outside of the pot.

I will grow out the plant another 2 weeks, then, I think I will be ready to flower!

Plant is 4.8 inches at it's tallest point. Super bushy! :blsmoke:

Hopefully all will carry on as well as it has so far, even better!

Take a look at a closeup of one of the toppings I did. Shows the dense foliage around the plant!
The clippings are most of the tops I snipped off... I will try to clone 2 from each plant, and will throw them into 12/12, just to see if my plants are ladies! I hope atleast one of them is!

Well, here's the pics~

Hi guys,
I just threw the plants into 12/12 with some warm tone CFLs, so lets see how they fair!

So far so good.

Thank you for stopping by, faru, and thanks for the in-depth review. I am growing 2 Sativas, one from the Kilimanjaro region, and the second, a very potent seed from a batch received from Ethiopia.
I am hoping for a couple of females for a perpetual grow.
Should I get a male, I may choose to pollinate, just to see what I get!

The plants are nice and bushy, growing by the day.
I am LSTing one, and ScrOGing the second.
The LST seems to be working better. Both plants have loads of nodes from previous toppings!

I am to believe that a sure shot indication of gender would be to wait for flowering to commence. Hopefully you are right, and this bagseed just happens to be girly!

I will post more pictures early tomorrow morning.

Plants JUST went into the dark stage. I would rather not expose them to light unless necessary!

Cheers.

2nd true node, worked great. i got 4 new developments, let them grow, and snipped each to give 2 more branches. i am looking at 8 branches total, on either plant.

Let us see how it goes.

Placing a new order with the tude this eve!

Will link to it soon ;)
