linux and the like are great....


but you know people have become accustomed and taken for granted the GUI that microsoft and apple has spoiled us with....

people too scared to learn code, i dont blame them... 6 years of schooling and coding still drives me nuts!!!

If MSFT made any other reason to upgrade, other than they weren't going to support it... It might be worthwhile.

Why is it that every other os on the planet can run with less than a gig of ram without a hitch, doesn't something sound wrong with that?

but that obviously comes with the territory, correct?

im willing to bet that half if not most of the people who bitch and gripe about having to upgrade the hardware components on yer pc just to have an upgraded OS are the same people who wont take the time to learn those other OS's and command prompts

now where's yer response to that one

lindows is almost identical to windows....no coding neccessary. check it out, linux has all kinds of drivers and support these days so theres no need to make up your own drivers and shit anymore.
