Picture from the side, please. What do the trichomes look like % clear, cloudy, amber. Cut a bud, quick dry it and try it. If it has a high profile you like, chop. Thanks for the reply. Looks like some great info and I'll check it in more detail tonight I'll try to snag some side pics tomorrow am too I trying to stealth it and high heat/low circulation has been an issue I deal with best I can. Would cause odd traits? The seed was scooped by me directly from medical grade GG from Terripin Care Station. Unfortnately I have no knowledge of their seed source but would assume legit. Best I can tell trichs are about 15-20% amber.

Don't look at the trichomes on the leaves! You want to look at the actual buds.

Yes...triches are suppose to be looked at from the calyx not the leaves themselves

Smh ..because the ones on the leaves mature far faster then the ones on the calyx... so if you are looking for the perfect ripeness and you are checking the wrong part you will end up harvesting way too soon.

Ill second that. If youre cutting your buds down thinking theyre ready by judging trichs on the leaves then youre cutting too early.
No all good information is in books, its all down to the author at the end of the day. Try harvesting when you get amber trichs on the calyx and not the leaves

Why would you need to see this cited somewhere?
Most dont smoke leaf, so why would you judge a plants doneness by its leaf.
Probably something about it on growweedeasy, or a number of other places if you require further convincing.
