These sativas will be a true test of my patience / abilities as a grower. Definitely takes a little more 'finesse' to get them where you want em, and the flowering time is not suited for the impatient. I guess anything great in life takes work, and that true Sativa high is something I've been searching for 4 quite a while. It'll pay off in time. Just gotta keep em in decent shape for another couple months lol...GG 3 probably isn't as far out from harvest, but this GG 1 has a while to go. It's starting to build up more trichs now n the flower production has really kicked into gear. Really surprised at how much the lower sections of GG 1 are filling out. A lot of these middle sections are almost as developed / possibly even more developed than the top colas. Wherever a budsite can form this thing pretty much has one. The cool thing is they're staying fairly uniform too - not gonna get much popcorn/larfy shit from this girl. :bigjoint:

GG 3 is still coming along nicely. It's like a little mini sativa lol. It's stayed fairly healthy the entire grow - haven't had an issue with this one at all besides it being slightly more finicky about watering than the other 3 strains. It really lets you know when the medium is getting too dry, but doesn't appear to like it real moist either. Kind of a fine line. Picky bitch ;P

You know how women can be very picky  looking good tho bro. Your treating those staves very well. Def gotta get my habds on some pure sativas as I love em. That long flowering pheno you have may have a lot of lowers on that may be done before the tops so just watch really close cus some of these will just keep flowering lol

Know it all 2 well my man...

Prob be a good candidate for harvesting in stages u think?
It may be only time will tell I say start looking at it hard at least around week 12 bare minimum just to be sure. Don't know if this is he only strain your growing but if it is maybe try bumping temps up to help it finish a lil faster

Lots of good stuff in they post.
You are reading your plants, that's an important part of growing.
Sativas can be super fucking picky, I'm glad all women ain't that picky or I'd never get any pussy.
With good lighting and health of a plant the bottom buds can and will be as developed as the tops. Resin production can sometimes be even better. My TOH finishes at the same time, top to bottom.
Stay on too if it like your doing and I promise it'll be worth the time and work. You got it going in my man.

Can almost guarantee without all your guys' help these ladies would be in a lot rougher shape. Got a ways to go still but things are gonna just keep getting easier with more experience. Couple more rounds through this tent n I prolly won't ever hit a dispensary again

We may have given you a lil advice from time to time but you did your homework before you even cracked the first seed. I wish more new growers would do that. Example, I seen a Thread the other day where the guy popped 30 seeds THEN he tried to learn what to do to grow them bass akwards

This is something I typically do as I pollinate selective branches (if pollinated well with decent pollen a couple of branches can produce a ton of seeds), then keep the rest for smoke or edibles.

I'll bring the plant(s) out, make sure there's no air/fan movement in the area, pollinate what I want, let it sit for ~3 hours, spray it down, shake off any excess water, then throw a fan on it for an hour, then back into the tent. I've had the odd seed pop on an adjacent plant/branch but nothing serious.

I've read a couple of hours is fine for it to take and 3 hours seems to work fine unless the pollen isn't viable.
Glad you guys are posting about this. I was thinking about making some seeds but wasn't sure if I could do just a couple of branches.

Getting close to feeding time. Had a tea brewing since yesterday. Tomorrow the ladies finally get to eat something more than h2o n whatever is in the soil already (well technically the microherd gets to eat something, but w.e)

Clones can be great for problem solving too. Because they are so uniform what worked on one will work on the others.
If you have the same everything with all of them and they start to have problems you can try to cure one to see if it works or gets worse without fucking them all up, know what I mean, I'm high. After a few runs with the same DNA you can really fine tune your strain. That's the fun part for me is to try to grow them to the best the genitics allow. I haven't mastered anything yet but I sure as hell try.

Hell yeah thats a good idea. I'm topping one of the 4 just to see if it slows it down at all being a week into flowering. I always hear 'dont top in flowering' so I just wanna see if it's really that big of a deal or not. It'd be nice to let the sidebranches catch up n compete for dominance without having to tie over the dominant branch n throw the symmetry off. IDK why but lst'd plants fuck w/ my ocd. The natural symmetry looks a lot better to me, even if it's less productive / efficient

Ha, funny you say they screw with your OCD, I'm the opposite, my OCD drives me to try and get more and more from the same pheno/strain clones ;) Looking good!

not sure why i keep saying 4. there's 3 GG #3 clones, n 2 GG #1 clones. Not 100% sure I can keep 2 more GG #1's in that tent lol. They went in with less veg time than the 1st one but still gonna be a couple monsters in a few weeks. These ones aren't as close to the light either so they'll stretch even more -.-

GG 3 not TOO far out from chop. Thought it'd be a longer flowering strain than it turned out to be, so it looks like the only one I have to keep in good shape much longer is gonna be GG 1 lol. This GG 3 should start having receding pistols n more n more swelling in the next couple weeks. Prolly see it gain quite a bit more weight before the end of this month.

GG #1 finally got untied to make some room for the clones. Had it pretty spread out before, but it's fitting in a little easier now. Kinda got it trained around the back side of the tent n around the corner now if that makes any sense o_O

Forgot to tell ya'll I threw down a 'Fruity Chronic Juice' from Delicious Seeds since their CSS turned out so impressive despite my neglect. Got the bean in a solo cup with some 'organic living soil' from buildasoil. First time trying it. Not sure if it'll be too hot for a seedling, but fk it we're finna find out!

White Widow x "Chronic"
http://en.seedfinder.eu/strain-info/Fruity_Chronic_Juice/Delicious_Seeds/

"Fruity Chronic Juice unites two strains that are renowned in cannabis circles around the world. We’ve managed to fuse the productive qualities of Chronic with the aroma and resin production of the original White Widow.

Although it’s an indica with a compact structure that’s ideal for indoors, it can get very tall if given enough room for the roots to develop, making it a perfect candidate also for outdoor growing. It produces large branches that rapidly fill with flowers.

Its buds are conical shaped and very compact. Fruity Chronic Juice produced a large quantity of resin. The buds look as if they’ve been coated with a layer of sugar. To fully enjoy the taste of this strain, it should be harvested at just the right moment. It smells and tastes of very sweet citrus fruits like oranges or grapefruit. Some growers also detect an aftertaste of very aromatic hash or pine.

This is a strain with a very wide range of flavours. The effect is very potent with a nice balance between physical and cerebral. The initial effect is very rapid and lasts for some time. With high levels of THC and CBD, this is a strain that’s suitable for any type of usage, whether medicinal or recreational."
