Day 18 Flower:

I had to move to my 2x4 tent as I needed the horizontal space.

And she still has stretched more. This is insane, this is the stretchiest Indica-Dominant hybrid i've ever encountered.

I'm strongly considering switching to my Bridgelux DIY fixture to finish this round, as I still need to bend and train and this simply does not have the coverage due to the length of the tent. Unless I hear some compelling reasons not to, this will happen on Tuesday for my next update.

Day 21 Flower:

I had to switch out to my DIY fixture, there was no way to get a decent yield with the coverage due to the horizontal training i've needed to use. I want to be perfectly clear though: this is definitely just a stretchy strain, the node spacing was pretty ok throughout veg but you can see that it's basically quadrupled in vertical height since the flip. I'll be running this light again over something like a Blue Northern Lights Auto - something that is heavily Indica-Dominant and wont' stretch as much.

Heavy duty tree trunk :weed:

Whats that runt doing:confused:
Why not swap runt for a garden gnome & also the gnome will look good for RIU pics :eyesmoke:

The runt is the littlest clone that refuses to either root or die. At this point it's just being kept for curiosity

Okay. So my weekend was basically consumed by prepping for a visit from corporate, finishing some renovation work better the snow flies and (this is my favorite) my colon deciding to impersonate Jackson Pollock's brown period. Expect an update tomorrow night :)

Okay... This girl can stop stretching any damn day now...

Day 26 flower and she still isn't done with vertical growth. I must have hit an unlucky pheno, because she will just not stop growing updwards. If I had another 2' of vertical height it wouldn't be a problem, but at this point it's starting to get a touch too much.

Yes, you are seeing some light bleaching and some nutrient deficiency - I literally cannot feed her enough at this point. I've triple-checked my pH range and it's sitting at 6 (+/- 0.05) this is with two different meters. The root mass is unreal, it's almost a solid ball at this point and will drink everything in the saucer in a few hours. I seriously cannot complain about the Geyapex light used for veg and the first part of flower - it's this nearly psychotic strain.

Had to make a really hard decision today. I ended up pulling the plug on this one.

It's been more than two weeks of this plant continuing to stretch without any indication of actual bud sites forming. If even dropped the light cycle to 10/14 to try and get it to fully flip into flower. Further to this, it has been showing signs of revegging. There are no light leaks and this leaves me scratching my head.

I'm gonna chalk this one up to one-off bad genetics. Sucks because I've put more than 7 weeks of work into this, but as a medical grower I can't afford to dick around with a plant that won't yield.

Expect me to start a new grow in two to three weeks, probably with a nice auto.

Already did that. :)

I flipped to flower when it was just over a foot tall expecting it to roughly triple in height during the stretch. Had to move it from my 2x2x5 to my 2x4x5 (which is actually 5.5 tall) to net and SCROG it about two weeks later because it had more than tripled in height. That gave me almost 2' of head space plus 6" of spacing for the lights. Even with tucking and judicious trimming of growth tips, she's gotten too tall.

Now, if she was setting bud sites and cola-ing up, i'd let it go and see what happens - she's not though. There are tons of pre-flowers but no bud sites, more than 4 weeks into flower. I tried changing the light cycle down 10 days ago, but no change. It's like the plant has entered a permanent flowering stretch and isn't triggering the next growth stage. I'm calling this bad genetics because I've never encountered another strain that has done this.
